DJMAX RESPECT (PS4)

Please explain to me how the removal of sync function and FAST/SLOW settings isn't butchering of a game that requires syncing and good timing for 100%-ing songs. Please do.

They can add all the songs and DLC they want after this, but the damage is done. This is going to permanently sour a LOT of people's opinion of DJ Max Respect. My brother, who put in over 200 hours into the PS4 version of Respect, reacted to the news by saying he'll likely never touch the game again.

Exactly, that's like if I would go to play DDR and suddenly all of the songs are out of synch, the game would become unplayable, the same goes in every rhythm game

Those are problematic changes, but that wasn't what I was talking about. I was referring to MrDanceCrazer calling this the downfall of Respect and calling Rocky Studio the "EA of Asia". Sync removal sucks yes, but I don't think there's anything Rocky Studio can do about it because of a patent issue. Let's wait for them to willingly make malicious decisions before throwing out bogus claims.


The damage is done, but this change isn't going to kill Respect like people are claiming. That's all I'm saying.

I'm extremely happy it'll be a simultaneous release (hopefully no delays ). Haven't been playing djmax for the past few months but this will definitely bring me back.

The DLC is coming out on the 19th

Best part about the PORTABLE 3 DLC is that I never have to play PORTABLE 3 proper again to experience the charts/game.

I didn't like PORTABLE 3 on PSP very much.

yes, unless you want to experience all the remix charts that aren't in the missions
