1. I want to play a random song preview on the title screen and have the effectclock synced up (so some graphics pulse with the beat), but I can't seem to get it working.
Code: https://github.com/ARCofSpada/SM-osu-theme/blob/master/BGAnimations/ScreenTitleJoin%20background.lua#L31-L44
2. I replaced common start in Sounds with lua, but now ScreenSelectProfile is complaining that a table is being returned.
This is what I have: return THEME:GetPathG("", "_skin/click-short.wav")
3. How do I make the song wheel smaller?
Code: https://github.com/ARCofSpada/SM-osu-theme/blob/master/BGAnimations/ScreenTitleJoin%20background.lua#L31-L44

Can you be more specific as to what you can't get working?Code: https://github.com/ARCofSpada/SM-osu-theme/blob/master/BGAnimations/ScreenTitleJoin%20background.lua#L31-L44

The example you gave only tries to directly load a single wav file (there's no conditional logic to load one of several files, for example). Why not just use a .redir file.?This is what I have: return THEME:GetPathG("", "_skin/click-short.wav")

You'll need to be more specific with what you mean by "smaller" but you might start by poking at the MusicWheelItem files under ./Graphics.Post #3 · Posté à 2016-12-03 09:10:30pm il y a 7.8 années

SOUNDlayMusicPart doesn't do anything.Quote: dbk2

It was just an example, the actual logic is "return loadOsuSound("click-short");", which checks if the file exists in the folder or returns something else if it doesn't. https://github.com/ARCofSpada/SM-osu-theme/blob/master/Scripts/SpriteUtil.lua#L18-L29Post #4 · Posté à 2016-12-03 11:33:28pm il y a 7.8 années
I took a look at your code/theme in StepMania. I'm not sure why SOUND:PlayMusicPart() wasn't doing anything for you.
I tried calling your playSample() function from the OnCommand of an Actor and it seems to work fine. http://pastie.org/10975892
