General DDR Wishlist Thread

-More appearances & debuts of other BEMANI artists outside of DDR (Yu Tokiwa, TOMOSUKE, wac (we need at least one Shounen Radio song in DDR), GUHROOVY, Hideyuki Ono, Jimmy Weckl, Yoshihiko Koezuka, good-cool, etc.)
-I agree with Pie on the American licenses thing (in terms of both stepcharts & music).
-murmur twins, AM-3P, & MAXIMIZER need their Oni charts from the Universe series.
-Take the crossovers featured in the Ultramix/Universe series & put them into the AC setlist. And refurbish some of the charts as well. (Especially BRIGHTNESS DARKNESS. The expert chart looked like it was made in Stepmania rather than being an official chart.)
-More crossovers from other BEMANI games, both discontinued & living. (Keyboardmania 1st-3rd Mix revivals? =D)
-New e-AMUSEMENT feature where the player can change the settings/features of the game to their personal preference (i.e. announcer on/off, BGVideos on/off) and save those settings to their e-AMUSEMENT pass.
-More crossover bosses like ZETA, VANESSA, Mei, & I'm so Happy.
-More 12-14 Expert/Oni charts.
-Refurbish the DDR 2010 charts.
-Revive some characters from old DDR (Preferably Charmy, Akira, & Johnny).
-I wouldn't mind reviving the dance routines featured in DDR X AC. Maybe even make some for new songs?

EDIT: Oh yeah, & another special Extra system. (Preferably different from Replicant D-Action.)

-Conga!!!!!!! (I love that Challenge chart so much)

-screen filter options (DDR II)
-add some Challenge charts for random songs
-(hoping for too much, but) get rid of the shock arrow charts and replace them with actual charts

Empire State Glory with a 12-X-scale heavy chart. Do this and I will be happy.

Seriously, I don't have a big-ass wishlist for things to be in the next arcade game. So long as DDR X3 has the DDR X2 songlist including unlocked songs, I, as an Australian, will be content.

For DDR II
-Definitely Challenge charts: Since DDR Wii is getting challenging charts for both difficulties, I hope they'll add Challenge to the game.
-Some of the Hottest Party characters returning: I might've started off with Hottest Party, but I love the AC characters too. Rena, Naoki, and U1 should make an appearance! (I believe Rena will appear since she was in X2, but I'll be crossing my fingers for Naoki and U1 to come in.)
-Different second outfit: I don't hate the second coloring of the characters' outfits, but it just seems unfair that they use the same outfits, but in different designs or colors. I think they should add a different outfit that shows off the characters' personalities. (This might not happened since I saw the G4TV video showing Emi's and Rage's outfit with a different color.)
-Removing and having a different Screen Filter: I have DDR 2010 and the Screen Filter is okay, but why does it have to be blue for 1st player? We should have an option to remove or use a different Screen Filter.
-Customizing your own character (Not your Mii): Like Guitar Hero for example, you can use your Miis or Avatars on XBOX, but you can also customize your own DDR character. It would be like the Miis, but it would look less creepy. You can have your own clothes like the Miis, accessories, or makeup. It would be awesome if they do that like Guitar Hero and Rock Band.
-Removing the Lesson By DJ songs: Let's face it, people are not going to dance or play those songs. Isn't that why we have DDR School on the Wii? They use samples of songs exclusive to the game (like Shine on DDR HP3). So they should remove those songs if they are keeping DDR School.
-Setting to change the background while playing a song: I completely agree that some people want either a music video, dance routine, or just a black screen. We should get this because music videos are distracting and dance routines work best for me and probably others.
-1-20 Chart ratings: I also agree on this one. It makes games more interesting due to the rating of songs.
-Edit Mode: I've been dying to make an edit chart for a song! I've been looking at DDR chart edits on YouTube and they inspired me to make some! Come on Konami! We can really use this option!

- As I said on the X3 topic, that usual songs get their additional difficulties from CS games. (Ecstasy, Murmur Twins, etc)

I have a bad feeling that Konami will stick to the charts for songs like Haunted Rhapsody and Take A Step Forward which are designed by the DDR 2010 team (not happy about it). Still maybe there's hope that some from the X2 step designers may contribute but I wouldn't want to raise hopes up. Although I thought Haunted Rhapsody was not so bad IMO.

In terms of songs, for DDR II I wouldn't mind having another EVOLVED song (I can maybe imagine the EVOLVED series will have more songs than the PARANOIA series. Maybe but it's unknown at the moment). I also don't mind having Jun composing more happy hardcore songs but less hard or even at least not a boss song because now it's getting tedious to see another boss song by Jun. NAOKI hasn't composed a boss song since HP2 and now I want to hear him compose another one but more something like Fascination MAXX or TokyoEVOLVED or Paranoia Survivor. Maybe a speed rave boss song could really make it far more interesting. You know similar to RED ZONE but musically different. I want to see all RDA songs in this game too. Right now I'm concerned about Valkyrie Dimension in the game even if the challenge difficulty is confirmed in the game, I'm not sure if this would really work due to the fact that VD oni is really hard. Also don't forget to also include crossovers like She Is My Wife, GOLD RUSH and Mei on there too.

For DDR X3, I was hoping for some more awesome BEMANI transplants especially more songs from REFLEC BEAT. Also more UNIVERSE transplants too and revive some good-cool music too (I'm not sure if that would be possible). Maybe the extra stage system in DDR X3 could either be similar to parallel rotation in IIDX Sirius or similar to Replicant D Action in X2.

I wouldn't mind about characters in either games but I would like to see old classic characters back (e.g.: Akira or Johnny) or maybe the classic version of characters who are still present like Rage, Emi and Disco.

And one last thing. Konami do not balls it up.

smooooch is tons of fun. They need to stop using copied charts for shock arrows, and make new charts that use the shock arrows in fun new ways, since the one time they did it, on smooooch, it was outrageously successful.

Fixed. I actually miss true... more than Look to the Sky :/, and I don't see why that was removed while other BeForU songs were revived :/
