So, in other words, they're putting the jubeat apps on life support yet again.
And with BEMANI ULTIMATE MOBILE coming up soon, they wouldn't think that a complete refresh of jubeat plus / jukebeat is a possibility in order to keep them in line with the others.

If you subscribe to INFINITAS or SDVX Cloud prices are going up as well, basic and premium services to eamusement are going up. This is a company wide shift to compensate for the government's tax rise.

Looks like the jukebeat store has been gone for some time now. "Connection failed" when trying to access it.
The Jubeat Plus store is still online, so I don't think it's anything like a temporary server issue.
I don't see any update in the app officially confirming. It might exist elsewhere on the internet?

A major update was announced today with some information here:

It will be free to play with over 800 songs available. iOS 11+ and Android 5.0+ are supported.
There appears to be some sort of gacha system in-place with no further details given.
For jubeat plus players that update to this version, the following will apply:
- Any purchased packs will need to be redownloaded again.
- Any packs that are no longer sold therefore cannot be played after the update.
- Purchased jCubes will be transferred over.
- Scores, marker settings, timing adjustments will be reset.

They lost me with the any de-listed songs will not be able to transfer. I'll keep my version as-is.
EDIT: Once this update is live song packs from the current game will no longer cease to exist so please be careful when updating. If you have songs from these packs installed they will not migrate to the new game.

I at first thought it was a ZiV prank, but the Konami site is way too specific going into details such as song packs that will be removed in the upcoming update.

Wow I've always wanted to play jubeat and this is the best chance to have to start playing it
I'm a bit worried about the gacha system though, with +800 songs they're probably be unlocked that way. I wish it worked like other games, mainly Idol games, where you have to play some kind of story mode to unlock everything but I guess they have to earn money in other ways
