Hi friends, I have a layering question, I'm creating a danger filter that shows an actor over the dancing characters, and another actor below the dancing characters, I place the overlay actor in the Gameplay decorations layer, and it work fine, the trouble is with the actor that I wanna place below the characters, if I place it in Gameplay underlay, it cover the characters, and if I place it in the Gampleay background is not shown :frowning: can anyone help me? I will post 2 screens to illustrate that:
Placed in Gameplay background:
Placed in Gameplay Underlay:

There's an actor called SongBackground present, you can access it with GetChild. If you hide it, things in ScreenGameplay background will become visible.

Unfortunately, Background is done in a relatively odd way which results in it only having four children, none of which actually do what you'd need it to do.

I've tried to do something near, loading the characters in actors, I could place them where I like to do but now the matter is how to make them reaction and interact, I would read the source code of the dancing characters file, and "translate" it into lua script, I think it could be just checking the health state of every player, I will play with this later. This way could give us almost complete control of the caracters, and it would be nice here is a shot of my initial test.

If you do that, it'd be cool if you designed it so it was relatively easy to drop into other themes (if you want other people using it, if not I can understand).

I will try to do it, if it works, we can load stages aside from characters like the New Generation games, I will try to scratch a initial version, I've loaded the characters in their rest position, I will have to check a way to manipulate the camera, and randomize some moves, there is no much info about playing with 3d objects, but I think I could play a bit with it, and with it maybe a way to implement dance routines. I will move my lua to a empty theme, and when I have a base I could upload it to a repo to implement and test more ideas.
