Anyone who's a fan of Ren Queenston of LapFox Trax should know that they've been making simfiles on and off for years, as well as the Mungyodance series. Anywho, I checked their old Teknolust domain recently and saw that their old non-Mungyodance simfiles are still hosted there! I wanted to let people know so that someone could maybe get these and mirror them here on the Z-I-v Simfile Database. You can navigate the menus for the old K4/K5 files here: http://renard.teknolust.org/renstep/old/ or peruse the root directories at http://renard.teknolust.org/renstep/old/stepsite/4panel/ and http://renard.teknolust.org/renstep/old/stepsite/5panel/ respectively. The root folder of the next series "K4 Next.Gen" is located at http://renard.teknolust.org/renstep/rar/ or you can browse the graphical menu here: http://renard.teknolust.org/renstep/ which also has a link back to the menus containing the older K4/K5 files. The simfiles from Renard's Errows I-II are all pretty much entirely covered and then some, but the packs Renard's Errows I, II, III, and Renard's Mungyodance Favorites are still available via http://renardserrows.tumblr.com and feature a few updates not contained in the older files. In Addition, the Renard's Errows Tumblr page features the beginnings of Renard's Errows IV, so anyone who doesn't have those yet should probably have a look over there.
EDIT: I just went back to download the files again and the server seems to be down. I don't know if it's only temporary or what, but at the time I originally posted the above message, the site was working. Sorry if the site is inaccessible for you.

Did you ever find something out? I am very interested in how his forum and everything was back then but sadly he deleted it back then. What did it look like and what were the K4 simfiles? I can only find the K4 next gen and K5 panel on spreadsheets of ITG packs. Though you most likely don't com to this ZiV anymore so I am just gonna assume to not get an answer.

Here is Ren (now Emma Essex)'s current stepfile homepage. The old K4/K5 stuff is, for the most part, not available here, but a few files from those previous series have been updated/redone. Aside from this, not much is available anymore that I'm aware of, unless maybe you can do some deep digging in places like archive.org or something...

Wait what? Heckscaper? What is that? It’s just like a list of bemani games. I mean it’s cool but it doesn’t say anything about Ren

I don't have anything to contribute except all those simfile graphics are amazing.

I don't disagree, the artwork has been up-scaled though and looks very pixelated (upon downloading a song)
The site's art and layout is nice though

Yeah I noticed that too. If they were 512x160 / 640x480 it would look stellar. Some of them capture old DDR aesthetic nicely.

Ikr. The graphics are super cool. I love them. But I would love for someone to actually explain what the site has to do with Renard

See edrianbrioul's post?
I feel like it couldn't have been that much clearer. That's Renard's new website, but they don't go by that name anymore.

Wait really? Okay. It's just I didn't see a single Renard (or Emma idc) alias song. Also I didn't think he was maming shit for stuff like fucking Keyboardmania and Beatmania 3. Those are very obscure. And I just thought he made stepmania, ITG charts so yeah.

But those are StepMania files. They are just sorted from where the music came.
Removing /bemani from the link aims at https://heckscaper.com/ and from there you can click on one of the links to go to https://lapfoxtrax.com/

Underground Garden is the designated label for Emma's own music that they've made stepfiles for, but these are all that have been done for the current series until they decide to re-do/touch up others or whatever.

I have most of the old files resynced and hosted here: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/o8s7udx69gmlu/ITG_Resyncs
This includes Renard's Errows 2/3/4, Renard's MGD Favorites (reworked Mugyodance files), and all of Step Step Revival. I added +0.009 to all the offsets to account for stock ITG's global offset since Renard typically synced to a null global offset. You can change them back using WinDEU's Mass Offset Adjustment utility if necessary.
