Located at the JCPenney wing of Independence Mall in the former Hibbett Sports space; it is the second location of the Greenville-based Extravaganza arcade concept by Mckeith Myrick.It opened up on March 23rd, 2024; and currently for the rhythm games, there is Chunithm, DDR Extreme (with a mismatched 5th Mix marquee), Pop'n Music UniLab, Sound Voltex Exceed Gear, Guitar Hero Arcade, ITGMania (on Andamiro's ITG2 dedicab), StepManiaX (deluxe), Taiko No Tatsujin 13, & Neon FM.
If you are in or even out of the Wilmington area and looking for the best rhythm game spot equivalent to Round1 or the classic DDR Freak era, you should check this place out!
Such a breath of fresh air over the DDR X cab at Jungle Rapids Family Fun Park, 2.6 miles & 7 minutes away.

1 year agojanitorSeems like the ITG cab switches between themes daily. One is a relatively stock OpenITG theme and the other is a Simply Love Initial-D remix.
Wonder if there's some A/B testing going on to see which attracts more customers? 🤔
Also, the A20 charts are broken and I think most new customers pick one (since it's the default folder) and get discouraged.
1 year agoknurdwent there yesterday the ITG cab wasn't on but DDR extreme was on that was great although the mall had the heat on or something and basic songs are taking me out i had to constantly go in and out for water i wish i brought a rag will definitely get a rag when i go to captain crazy''s paradise in foley Alabama

1 year agoRhythmGameNate007Recently, McKeith had upgraded his DDRMAX2 cab to Extreme (bringing it back to town for the first time in 9 years and 5 months "CAROLINA BEACH ARCADE, WHERE THE LAST EXTREME IN THE AREA UP TIL NOW WAS AT), and replaced Simply Love with a different OpenITG related theme (sucks though, since I love the Simply Love theme); and he's also looking into adding some casual music to his ITG2 dedicab to attract the casual players!
