Information

It seems like this arcade has access to a DDR EXTREME cabinet. You can check on the "Picture icon" about this cabinet. More investigation will be taken place and hope this arcade gets a chance to physically discover it.

Update 2025 - 2026
----------------------
The cabinet has been discovered and is a 1st Gen modified K-cab running the DDR Extreme software version. There is a prevalent CD-ROM error which plagues the machine especially when it comes to loading songs before beginning a song stage sometimes outright freezing entirely, prompting for a reboot to be done by the arcade attendant. A long term repair would be more ideal as it would save the machine from unnecessary boot cycles and as well as keeping the playing experience for players pleasant and consistent. More info is available in the relevant section regarding this machine.

Dance Dance Revolution EXTREME (Japan)
Comment: The Machine has decently good pad sensitivity for player 1 with some arrows like the left and down arrow giving occasional misses. Player 2 however has a left sticky arrow but the rest of the panels work great, this affects the ability to play doubles and single Expert level charts to a professional or sometimes even an enjoyable level. Player 2's left cabinet selector button doesn't work at all which means navigation up or left in the menus is impossible and as well as activating the modifications menu. Marquee lights on the cabinet are functional but have been replaced with red and blue led spot lamps, 3 out 4 are operational at this time, the bass neon's do not work however. This does not affect the play ability of the game but does take away from the overall visual appeal. The sound coming out from both the top speakers and the singular functional right bass speaker is satisfactory but sometimes underwhelming during busier times at the arcade *The Left bass speaker is non-operational. The Cabinet has an lcd monitor replacement and a generic marquee and monitor bezel graphic. The pads also have baby pink and blue sticker banners on them. The machine is also a K-cab which has unfortunately worked against it's favour as it now carries the CD-Rom error caused by the 573 laying horizontal in these kinds of cabinets. The CD-Rom error is very much prevalent and causes the game to freeze a lot during loading screens and sometimes causes the game to freeze altogether making it unplayable unless an authorized reboot is performed by an arcade attendant willing to do so.. P.S It's never the women attendants, rather ask the male ones if present.
