Information

Associació A.R.C.A.D.E. (aka ARCADE.cat) is a non-profit cultural association aiming the preservation and divulgation of arcade games and culture, by a wide array of means: collaborating with cultural entities and other media such as films, podcasts, radios, etc, organizing tournaments, and restoring machines of its private collection. Our main objective is to preserve the feel and essence of old arcades, as well as modern ones.

The association is run collaboratively by its members in their free time as a labor of love, with frequent events, workshops and tournaments. Its premises is home to an extensive collaborative collection of arcade and pinball machines that cover over 40+ years of arcade history. It has a mix of dedicated cabinets (rhythm games, racing games, classic games, etc.) as well as Candy cabinets and Spanish generic cabinets from the 90s, with games usually being switched from time to time. All of them are set on Free To Play.

Keep in mind, this is not a game center open to the public. Access to the premises is for members and accompanying guests only. However, we hold many different tournaments throughout the year (A.R.C., SHMUPFEST, TBAP and more upcoming) that are open to the public. So keep an eye out for future events and tournaments on our social media.
