I tend to report machine status directly to the operator on their discord.

I unfortunately cannot report cab status for the stuff I barely play or I'm not skilled at, mainly since it could be my own misunderstanding. In the last year they have done some effort with mainteneance which is more than they used to do, but there is still loads of stuff pending.

They are riddled with work specially accounting with the heavy amounts of candy cabs and DX cabs they hold onto and its comprehensible they might prioritize the cabs that are more profitable for them (These being, the ones with the most eye candy). Plus, this is an open business that recieves tons of casual visitors each week. Most revenue comes from these casual visitors by the way.

The staff also barely tests most of the cabs, not because they are not willing but for the most part they don't play at a high level or have nothing to compare whatever quirks they might end up encountering.

When it comes to rhythm cabs, there isn't that many regular players. I can count up to around 5 including one of the operators, I haven't even met any dance cab player who attends more than once a month.

Much less regular players who are knowledgeable about every cab in the rhythm area (Or even the cabs they regularly play sometimes).

Aaaaand much less, regulars with the necessary hardware skills to repair cabs. Learning is feasible but if I was the owner of a business I wouldn't let any hobbyist to do mainteneance on a 5k€ cab at the risk of total failure.

I also have already advised them to move different cabs around such as switching Wacca for Chunithm since the placement for Wacca is dangerous to bypassers but they didn't do it and even placed Tetrarhythm cab between Ongeki and Chunithm, which makes the problem with the Wacca placement even worse.

Still, there is plenty of easy fixes I have reported with video proof or even stuff I reported briefly and have been fixed in a short span of time. There are others I have reported a long time ago concerning the DACs of many cabs and haven't been fixed for a long time now.

What I do see is a lack of failure reporting on site or on the discord.

So, if anything can be done...

FIRST is to have regular players always report any quirk with the cab status on the Discord and if possible providing proof. Don't wait for others to report, and report stuff even if others have done so.

This is barely done by anyone regularly other than me and a couple others sporadically, I even have gone out of my way to report cabs I don't even play regularly. Also, if you're actually interested on a fix, do a follow up on them with the staff.

SECOND, be it on physical site or on the discord, tell others about the need and importance of status reporting since most people based in Seville are not in Zenius and have never heard of it.

THIRD, if anyone has the technical knowledge and the staff is receptive to the iniciative, share whatever technical knowledge that can be useful for mainteneance. I wouldn't recommend this much though, refer to my last point.

FOURTH, communicate with staff regularly in a respectful and polite manner and try to have them communicate via their social networks more often regarding cab status.

As for last, I need to remind you this is a for profit business and not some kind of hobbyist association and has been since at least 2019. You are still clients of a business, mind it whenever you decide to support the place and at which capacity to do so. 11 days agoDSK
Lo pongo en español para la gente de sevilla, que sois muchos los que jugais en la zona de ritmo, deberías empezar a hacer piña y dar voz para que las máquinas las tenga en mejor estado, no puede ser que una DDR en el día 1 fallase un pad, y ahora está "arreglado" (y seguramente no responderá de forma perfecta), ya son varios jugadores que he escuchado en Sevilla que me han contado historias de terror y el mal estado en el que se encuentran varias a estas alturas (Si, la PiU desde que fuí en agosto, sigue sin funcionar bien).
Si los técnicos se quejan de que no pueden por falta de tiempo o porque están cansados de repararlas, que contraten más, o mejor aún, que escuche a la comunidad y les deje que puedan mantenerlas para que se puedan disfrutar adecuadamente, no puede ser que el mejor museo arcade de Europa las tenga así.
