Information
The fourth location of Cineplex's dining and entertainment centre, and the first and currently only in Calgary. The arcade and redemption games use a reloadable mini NFC card system called "Game Tags" threaded on a bracelet-like strap, you may also ask for a proper full-sized NFC card instead free of charge at the ticket redemption room called the "Trophy Case."Besides the arcade, this location features Top Golf Swing Suite, table tennis, billiards, and cue-less shuffleboard all upstairs. Open to all ages during all opening hours. Location formerly had VR and Sim Racing but those have been removed as of 2024.
A "Begin play" fee is charged for each new card purchased. For standard cards, this fee is $3 and includes 12 extra credits. For premium wrist bands, the cost is $6 with 14 extra credits.
Credits start at $10.50 (including tax) for 40 and are better value purchasing in bulk.

Every Tuesday all arcade games are Half-Off as a part of their promotion.
The Rec Room is run by Cineplex, so you can earn and spend Scene points here. 1000 points can be redeemed for a $10 discount. Cineclub members can also receive a 20% off discount on 2 individual wrist band purchases per day.
Please Note that sections of, or the entire venue may be closed unexpectedly for Private Events. While regularly scheduled events open to the public with special offers happen throughout the year, check their socials for details.
A.M. PASS cards are available for $20 at the "Trophy Case" redemption room and in limited supply.
BANAPASS cards are available at the Wangan Terminal next to the Maximum Tune 5dx+ cabs for 32 credits and also in limited supply.

2 years agowickedquickThese arcade's franchises all buy their machines from the umbrella of the Player One Amusement Group, also owned by Cineplex, this makes "The Rec Room" franchises in Canada and Cineplex's "XSCAPE" arcades very limiting in terms of games outside of the catalog given by the company, especially due to Dave and Buster's hold on official Bemani games in North America.
