Information

Eastridge Mall location. Officially opened as of around 3PM, September 4, 2015.
Open on all major holidays.

Mall entrance: An escalator and elevator can take you to the second floor entrance. Shutters will close at night.
Outside entrance: A stairway and elevator are available from the outside entrance.

At 7 PM there will be security outside checking your bags and pockets.
Must be 18+ or with guardian over 25 after 10 pm.
Must be 21+ or with guardian over 25 after 12 am.

Water cups are not available at the food counter. Fountain and bottled drinks are available to purchase.
Bringing in water bottles is allowed but not outside food and drink.

Locating Services
Arcade and redemption area is to the right of the mall entrance with information and service kiosks directly when you walk in.

Bowling and shoe rental lockers are to the left of the mall entrance, as is billiards, darts, ping pong, and the food and drink bar.
Karaoke is located around the gaming area along the left walls; the redemption prize room is also located around this area.
All karaoke rooms have Healsonic systems which carry English, Spanish, and Chinese songs. Karaoke room 1 is also equipped with a Korean karaoke system as well, as is a Japanese LiveDAM system in karaoke room 5, denmoku remote included.
Labeled HDMI splitters indicate that there should be a Japanese system in all of the rooms at a future date.

(As of 2024, Japanese Karaoke is not available. Upon asking they will say they don't have it)

Transit Connections
Santa Clara VTA lines 22, Rapid 522, 26, 31, 39, 70, 71, 77, and Express 103 serve the Eastridge Transit Center, which is an 8 minute walk from Round1. (Pro Tip - Use Line 77 if coming from Berryessa BART)

Requires game cards that have a white stripe near the bottom to play (Intercard system).

They just got 2 new beatmania machines today. I don't play that game, but I saw there are now 4 of them (Feb 5 2020 around 4 PM). Unsure if they're removing the 2 older ones, or keeping all 4. I didn't check to see what version of the game they are.

Looks like all 3 DDR A20 cabs, and the 2 PIU cabs get traffic. The SuperNova 2 seems to be dead (as in, no one plays it, no idea if it is actually dead in terms of functionality).

Take the CalTrain from SF to SJ and then taxi/bus on over to R1. I'd be down for carpool but I don't have a car as well

Okay so I went to the arcade finally. Took the BART to Fremont -> Great Mall Transit Center -> Eastridge Transit Center and it was painfully boring so I just took an Uber back to SF at night. Can I carpool with anyone on the weekends or something? If not, I guess I’m taking the 7:57 AM BART train on weekends.

My PIU PRIME USB wasn’t working for some reason. I wonder if my usb is messed up or something. I have the .bin file on it but yeah it doesn’t do anything. The pads are great by the way. A+ to me. I’ve played on MUCH worse in other locations before.

The IIDX machine only gives you 40 seconds to choose songs from which is too low. They should change that.

The Supernova 2 machine is looking old. Hopefully they can upgrade to DDR A (2016) soon.

Interested in meeting up with people… Who is the MIKE guy on the machine high scores? Also, MUSTAFA and others?

Most of the store's activity usually comes on the weekend, though weekday evenings have a little bit of activity every now and again. I'll get back to you on the PIU Prime pads when I get a response from the fellow arcade goers here.

I want to go to this arcade but I live in downtown SF and no car so it's a very long commute through train/bus

2.5 hours. Do most people come on weekends or? Interested in PIU Prime mainly here. My favorite game. Hopefully the pads are A+

Gunslinger Stratos 2 confirmed to be in store and functioning as of March 7th; NESiCAxLive confirmed to be in-store with BlazBlue: Central Fiction (latest installment) and Ultra Street Fighter IV as of March 8th. It is unknown to me what other games are accessible on NxL besides the aforementioned two.
