Information
The arcade is located inside of the Circus Zandvoort building, which also houses a threatre and a cinema.When entering the building through the (main) front entrance, you can find a hallway on your right hand side to the arcade area "Family Land" and then go left to follow the spiral staircase going down.
Toilets for men are in the bottom left corner in the arcade area from the entrance and are free to access (march 2026). Usually Gamestates require a Gamestate card to enter toilets.
The arcade is decently airconditioned and staff is very friendly.
The arcade space is relatively small and there's lots of (big) machines, so the place is a bit packed.
Possibly the first (and currently the only) arcade in the Netherlands to own a DanceDanceRevolution X2 machine.

10 years agonebbiiUpdate: I contacted them via the FB page. They apologized for the misunderstanding on the employees' part and said that they will raise the volume from now on.
10 years agonebbiiI visited last weekend on the 28th and they seem to have a new policy on not raising the X2's volume.
I asked two workers on different shifts during the day to raise the volume, one straight up refused and the other one refused saying "the sound might bother other arcade visitors". When I stressed the problem he laughed off the problem and seemingly later told other workers to not raise the volume for us..
Definitely not coming back to this one, it's a shame because the Thumbsy enhanced (<3) pads and song list are really good. It's not worth dealing with arcades with rude operators.

13 years agoThumbsyCould you confirm the P2 side is no longer having problems too? (Because the X2's description still says so and I saw you updated it)
The sound is indeed very silent by default.
When I asked, staff told me they do it to keep them from going crazy, hearing the same samples over and over again :p
They'll turn it up for you right away if you ask them though!
Edit: OK, visited again and the pads are indeed proper fixed now :]
13 years agoSchmichelPlayed on the machine one week ago, no problems but very silent and the well known horrible sound quality of the EU X2 cabinets.
