Welcome to The Heart Of Gaming. We are an arcade that salvage and restore machines!We offer an all day pass for £20 for adults or £15 for children. All machines in HOG are Free to play.
We have a mixture of arcade cabinets and consoles (PS2, PS4, Xbox 360, Mega Drive, SNES, N64, Wii, Switch). We also have two pool tables and an air hockey table.
Some of these arcade cabinets are actually Sega multipurpose arcade machines (Euro Megalo, Super Megalo 2, Megalo 430 and Naomi) so the games running on them can and will change at short notice.
The arcade is now located on North End Road located opposite Ann Summers. Look for the Playnation Games building head though the doors and head up towards the stairs on your left

The drum rubber is in pretty bad condition on both drums, and the right one takes a significant amount of force to register a hit- don't use this one if playing difficulties >hard... The left one is less sensitive in the centre, but overall picks up hits well. Use the stock bachi, though, since maibachi are too light for the drum's sensors and sometimes miss hits. The fighters running on the huge 38" CRTs in the Naomi DX cabs look particularly stunning.
5 years agoajmurphy93Visit 21/08/20 | Updated the page to everything thats there. The fighting games such as Street fighter are hosted in SEGA MEGALO cabs. Fighting mania was turned off other than that most machines run fine. The "In the groove machines" could do with a lot more custom songs.
5 years agoajmurphy93Highly doubt Groove Coaster will be internet connected. The one at LV and Arcade club isnt. I think popn is running offline but popping in Sunday to find out.

5 years agokidburlaI went there a few hours ago and ITG was definitely there and running fine. Unfortunately Star Wars Racer is gone, apparently it was on its last legs and would have died anyway if they continued to heavily use it, so might as well sell it.
