Information
Right in Clifton Hill, this particular city's big tourist trap district, and by far the biggest of all the arcades in the city. The arcade continues into the Boston Pizza that is connected upstairs to the main "Great Canadian Midway" proper.On February 3, 2023, the Great Canadian Midway upgraded to a card system. Credits and tickets are now stored on digital cards. Card pricing is similar to other major arcades:
• $10 for 45 credits ($11.30 after tax, or 25.12¢/credit)
• $20 for 100 credits ($22.60 after tax, or 22.60¢/credit)
• $30 for 160 credits ($33.90 after tax, or 21.19¢/credit)
• $50 for 300 credits ($56.50 after tax, or 18.84¢/credit)
• $99 for 640 credits ($111.87 after tax, or 17.48¢/credit)
Please note that new cards require a $2 activation fee, or $2.26 after tax. The fee includes 8 credits. Also, the $99 package includes four cards with 160 credits each. Base prices use the cheapest card for reference at $12, or $13.56 after tax.

Pump It Up and StepManiaX are available. On one machine, player 1's bar is a little wobbly, but otherwise pads both well. Right side is in amazing condition. HOWEVER, pad sensitivity is customizable in the game settings after picking a song: on normal sensitivity, holds might drop if your foot isn't forcefully on the pad or you are playing without shoes. Otherwise the machine is in perfect condition. The rates for the machine are 6 credits/2 songs. Screen is also in perfect condition.
If we are talking strictly overall machine and pad quality, this is easily the best public one in all of Niagara.

I think this is the 2nd to last update (last update unlocked everything). Has BSpower and Cross Time. Left side front-left panel is caved in. Inadequately repaired with duct tape. Right side is in fair condition. Can do S15s with 0-5 pad bads per song. Left side works, even the caved in panel works. | 3 credits; base price is:

| StepManiaX (43" Dedicated Cabinet) (International) Location: It's near the back, if entering from the arcade entrance. If coming from Boston Pizza, machine will be on the left side. Comment: Pads have noticeably gotten slightly better minus the occasional dropped holds here and there, and the bar wobble has been completely fixed, but machine is currently offline and support doesn't know how to fix it. Has the most recent content update downloaded, however; (update 50, May '24). If you have the in-game sensitivity setting set to high, strong recommendation to return it back to medium. | 6 credits; base price is:

2 years agoballinI don't know what people are talking about. PIU Prime2 is on the 1F by the bathrooms. It's not dead. Although left side is in bad shape and maybe management is thinking about getting rid of it.

11 years agoBarXThis arcade is pretty large, expanding two floors. It's unfortunate that the arcade techs are refusing help from locals, or else the ITG machine would probably be in pristine condition.
