2025 Nov 19:Sadly, this place has really went downhill, at least for DDR and PIU players. The machines are old (PIU Pro 2 was released in 2010, DDR SN was released in 2006), they're no longer really maintained, and they're jammed in a corner with walls right next to the machines where it is easy for your arms to hit them while playing if you're not careful.
Games are no longer charged in dollar amounts; Big Als has instead shifted to using "bigcoins". As an example, a game of DDR or PIU Pro 2 costs 8.3 bigcoins at the time of writing, i.e. about $1.85 per game if using a $10 game card. So mentally, you can think of it as being a little less than 25 cents per bigcoin, at least as of 2025 Nov 19.
The 15% off VIP card is no longer a thing.
Current prices for play cards as of 2025 Nov 19:
$2 fee for the card itself, PLUS:
* $10 for 45 bigcoins (about $0.22 per coin)
* $20/$30: same rate as above
* $50 for 280 bigcoins (about $0.179 per coin)
* $75 for 470 bigcoins (about $0.16 per coin)
* $100 for 640 bigcoins (about $0.156 per coin)
It might be OK as a general arcade. If you're considering coming for the DDR or PIU Pro 2 for the nostalgia factor, it could be OK too (although significantly overpriced for terrible condition and old machines), but if you want to seriously play either of those (for exercise, etc.), I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
