yeah lol, first time i went i brought it up and they opened up the coin door, readers are literally just sitting in there still wrapped up and not mounted or plugged in. pretty simple job that i assume they just haven't had any pressure to do, but i don't want to hassle them too much bc they have professed they understand the benefits of keeping the machine in a good state and online and they were willing to let whatever community member showed up before me come in to do some stuff before assumedly flaking. maybe someone here'll have to work something out? who knows 2 months agoTOPHERTHEPB

yeah, lol. tbf they sound like they could be convinced! they're not big rhythm game heads or anything but the staff member who told me what was going on did seem to appreciate the benefits of having the machine online so i think if it's possible to get stock easily enough on the operations side of things they might be interested in getting some. i appreciate underinformed but helpful staff a lot more than being stonewalled by some operator who doesn't trust the community 8 months agoTOPHERTHEPB

The card readers only work with certain cards I think. E.g. the ones on the pool tables work fine with my friends debit card but not mine. I think it's just whatever brand they used. 8 months agojuneibyou
went here today and the card readers don't seem to be connected in the PIU cab. tech was chill about it, said someone from the community was talking about coming in to sensitivity mod it and set up the readers (one of yous?), looked inside briefly (i think the readers were still bagged up in there) and said he'd check the manual then gave me some service credits to make up for it. they don't quite seem to know their stuff but they're thankfully interested in getting it working 9 months agoTOPHERTHEPB
