Seriously, you'd think they would buy spare arrow panels.

They moved the machine. It is now by the service entrance next to the party rooms. This is in-line with where the dance machine usually is in the newer-model D&B locations.

Also, I think they replaced that one broken plexiglas panel on the 1P side of the cabinet. Maybe I didn't notice it because the alcove is darker than the rest of the arcade, but it looks like it's not broken anymore. 5 years agoPrism

A year on, DDR A is still playing well. The problem is that the networking is giving out. The past few months, it's been losing connection, causing delays between songs and while trying to log in and save progress. A few times this past month, it was down entirely because it couldn't connect. Last time I was there, it wasn't bad, so maybe they fixed it? We'll see. 7 years agoAxelWasHere

Had someone clean the pads out tonight. They're still acting up, but 1P is slightly more functional than 2P at the moment. The guy said they ordered new sensors, but they haven't gotten them yet. It really sucks getting no greats and pad misses. 10 years agoredshoepaul

I did tell the staff the arrows were sticking last time I was there, but they don't seem to have done anything about it. I wish I knew who to talk to directly, because I feel like when they say they'll let the tech know, they're just blowing me off.

They stick the worst when playing more difficult songs. I can't help but wonder if it has anything to do with stampede always going there and trying to stomp a hole through the pads. 10 years agoBemani Dog

When I told him the pads were sticking, he said, "I don't think we can do anything about that." Did a power hour by myself and had enough credits to play nonstop for 3 hours. There were 10 credits still on the machine when I left.

Pads are getting bad, though. I let them know that the 1P up arrow is sticking, and that the 2P side is giving bad steps too. Hopefully they'll fix it. I think I'm going to hold off from going back until someone confirms they fixed them. 10 years agoAegis

If you try doing it every 60 seconds, then 120 is the limit.

Okay seriously, the Power Hour thing here is probably the best deal you're going to find for DDR around, especially since the pads are in as good of shape as they are now. Pay 10 bucks for Power Hour (4:30pm - 7pm) and you'll get unlimited cred for 1hour. After 60 sec, swipe the card on a machine. Do it for the next 59 minutes (until it dies). You have 60 credits on your cab free to play for the rest of whatever amount of time you want. I'd like to put in my own input and then leave, since i'm nowhere near Orlando and can't really say much about the machine itself. From what I understand, Carlitos just wants to play on a cabinet that works correctly so that he can get the scores he is capable of instead of being cheated by poor sensors and whatnot. I can relate to that issue, as can many people, so it makes sense that you would be upset if a machine doesn't work 100% and can mess up your scores. By the way, you can play for fun and still go for AAAs, it's all about your own preferences when it comes to playing. 11 years agoMr.Music

Honestly? It matters to me. I don't want to sound like a dick, but I can't enjoy the game if an arrow give me crap. If I want to *enjoy* the X2 songs, I just download them for stepmania, but in the actual machine, I like to get the better score I can, mostly because I'm paying to play.
