"On ZiV I'm like Princess Diana"
Pro tip: Don't watch G4, that channel was cool for about a month after it bought out TechTV, which was a angering move in itself. Now it's a channel that specializes in giving 15-23 year old men fapping material.

Bring back The Screensavers, you bastards!

*ahem*

Anyways...I can't say I'm really looking forward to much. With college and all, I really don't have as much time as I once had for video games. Not to mention the fact that I don't own any next-gen consoles. I do hope to see some more Silent Hill V and Final Fantasy XIII media though.

And of course, the DDR games.

I hate G4 as well, It's only good for Ninja Warrior (it's over played to hell now) and Coed Monkeys. I'm just watching it for the live press conferences.;D

Well, I think you're mistaken. They don't have a specfic channel FOR E3, but the channel G4 (Which is basically supposed to be a video game channel. Spoiler Alert: It's not) is airing press conferences and doing reports on E3 as it happens.

Yeah, E3 is actually a big gaming "convention", I suppose would be a good word.
Of videogames we currently know about, I'm really looking forwawrd to more info on Chrono Trigger DS and Resi 5.
But I also want to see what Nintendo unveils this year, as they always show something new Smile

It's called Silent Hill Homecoming now.
As for Final Fantasy XIII it wont be shown at E3.

"Ready!?"
I hope they cover RE5 and Silent Hill. I've given up on Square Enix. I mean 11 shitty games in a row and a terrible movie (graphics were good, that's all). Is it even possible? Dragon Quest series aside, Square has seen better days. Like back when they were called Square.

These are the last 9 games from SE:

Song Summoner: The Unsung Heroes
Nanashi no Game
Xenogears
Einhänder
Astronoka
Rakugaki Showtime
Raystorm
Fighters' Impact
Front Mission 2089: Border of Madness
Maji de Manabu LEC de Ukaru DS Hishou Boki 3-Kyū
Star Ocean: The Second Evolution

I'm pretty sure most people thought the Star Ocean game at least was pretty good.

Of course, you probably have some personal reason for hating them, since your statement was pretty general and unspecified.

Maybe you meant a different set of 9 games or a different definition of "in a row." Recent games have included things like "World ends with you" which again most people think is pretty good.

Scratch that, eleven games which are:

FF7
FF7CC
FF7BC
FF8
FF9
FF10
FF10-2
FF12
KH
KH2
TWEWY

Any Tetsuya Nomura game is crap. Generic plots, generic characters, terrible character designs. He's a terrible game-director. The one game I could stand by him was FFT. It was great, he gets props for that.

Also the Star Ocean games and Xenosaga games no longer wow me. I am, however, looking forward to Front Mission.

Yeah, I think most of those games were pretty good. In fact, I've got FF7 running on my TV as we speak. I thought Dirge of Cerberus was piss-poor though. Was not fun to play, and the story was really dumb.

KH games are ok. They've got great gameplay, and a semi-interesting storyline.

FF8 was pretty good all around. They made it a bit too romantic for my taste.

FF9 is just 'ok'. It's not one of my favorites.

FFX is good, save for the fact that Tidus is too whiny and child-like to be the main character. I liked the whole religious corruption aspect to the story though.

I will admit that I enjoyed playing KH1 and the storyline was okay but KH2 was terrible. Fangirls don't help it's cause either. FF9 was pretty fun because they re-introduced the job system. The materia system from FF7 was pretty cool. From my perspective, the storyline > gameplay. All of the storylines are generic :\ doesn't do it for me.

MGS4, for example, is a flawless game. Seriously, it's the best RPG to date. Perfect game, everything about it is perfect. The Tales series was great until after Symphonia, which was also pretty good. The battle system was so fun and the storyline was generic but the character development was excellent.

I will, however, give FFXIII a try just to be fair. Let's see if SE can redeem itself.

I've only played FF1, 2, 3, and 7. They were all awesome!... oh, and FFTA. The thing about FF7 I loved the most were the crumy graphics! Happy

What are you talking about, FF8's gameplay was awful. =/ FF9 blows it out of the water.

And if Kingdom Hearts has a generic storyline, then Gone With the Wind is a horrible book that deserves no merit.

Here are some places that will be broadcasting live online: Joystiq
I believe GameSpot does live broadcasts of the "big 3" conferences (Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony). The other press conferences are blogged live. IGN will also be broadcasting "in HD" but only for Insiders (paid subscribers).

I have to say I definitely agree with pandemonium X.

I can't wait to see what nintendo unveils at E3 because they usually do have some pretty good stuff to show off. But besides them, I'm really not lookin forward to too much else, besides obviously the DDR games.

Wait, anybody think that DDRX AC will be displayed at E3 along with the CS version?

If I recall I'm pretty sure thats what happened at E3 06 for SuperNOVA.
