Was it a bad experience because the pads didn't work well or was that grade embarrassing?

Sometimes when i was playing DDR, the song lacked for a few seconds and make me fail the songs immediately. That was a small glitch but very annoying.

Yeah, you guys posting "one tiem i playd nd i get bad scor, that suck", your stories suck. Come back when you have a real story, like some of the other posts here. Something stolen, a near fight, kicked out for bs, stuff like that.

I feel very sympathetic for you guys, the people at your arcades don't know the "rules" ;___;

When the machine was quieter (hard/impossible to hear over dumb basketball game whistle, and preteen girls in general yapping about their boyfriends and cellphones), I went to the desk and asked the girl if she could get someone there to turn up the volume on the machine. Now, that would have happened then and there if one of two certain managers were at the desk.
But she said "Umm, I dunno, I'll call Kari." (or some other girl, don't even remember tha name) I roll my eyes, and she calls some girl lounging in an employee-only room. The girl then told me that they'll have their technician turn the volume up on Saturday.
Well, I had just got there and had some buddies who wanted to play too. I said,
"What? It's just knobs. You turn two knobs in the operator's box to turn up the volume."
"But we really oughtta leave it to the technician."
"But it's knobs! You don't need a technician to turn knobs! The manager here even opened the operator's box and let me work with it before!"
"But we just can't do this, sorry."
At this point I was so incredulous at our arcade's severe lack of general intelligence, that I speechlessly went back to playing with my buddies. I returned next week, though, and the volume had at least least been turned up... by a QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN FGSFDS
