My worst experience?
Failing 321STARS for hitting the wrong arrows.
Don't you hate when that happens?

I've had little kids stand behind the machine at the local movie theater and throw popcorn and whatever other candy they bought onto the pads lol
Worst time for me would have to be one night I was at the same place with my girlfriend, and some douchebag came up with his friends and was jumping around like an idiot on the 2P pad. I'm totally used to this and it doesnt really bug me cause usually they stop if you ignore them, but this kid started waving his hands in front of my face, shouting things at me, then literally stood right in front of me while I was playing. I pushed him out of the way once and it worked, but then he kept coming back and started talking shit to my girlfriend who had told him to stop. At that point I just said to myself it wasnt worth it, grabbed my wallet, flipped him off, and left with my girlfriend.
Fortunately people like that don't come around much, but if it had been my friend with me and not my girlfriend I would have taken it outside and whooped his ass lol

I don't have any horrible experiences of my own, but one time, my cousin was playing We Will Rock You on Heavy Doubles when these kids were stepping on the pad trying something weird. We first noticed them when she was in between songs and she waited for them to go away before playing the song. Then, after the song started, they came back and messed up her game. She wasn't on the same side as them at that moment, but she had to cross over pretty soon. Because they were in the way, she had to fail the song.
I hate it when little kids try to play when they don't actually know what they're doing. One kid started stepping before the song began, which enabled Boost without him realizing. Oh, this one's good. There was this guy who came in with his two-year-old kid who was pretending to play DDR...and they actually inserted a credit (as if that little guy could hit the arrows). They were scrolling through the songlist, but left before doing anything else, essentially wasting a dollar.

In that situation, I plow into anyone in the way. If they don't have the common sense to not be in the way when something is quickly moving towards them, they deserve whatever happens.

Not being able to play DDR at all...my PS2 won't work anymore. Luckily I'll be getting a new one soon.

Actually, one time some kid (probably about 12) tried sticking his foot on the pad to trip me up. Of course I had to jump on his foot. And he cried. In the middle of a decent-sized crowd. Oh, that felt good.

OK, not DDR , but PIU.
I was at Chuck-E-Cheese (or whatever) and I was trying freestyle and the stupid adults were all "SHAKE YOUR DAMN HIPS!!" I flipped them off and was walking around to find Chuckie. I pulled his tail and got kicked out for the rest of the day

I've been through that, but let me take it one step further. I was about full combo Canon-D full ( for the PIU fans) and not only the machine, but the entire arcade shuts down completly and i could have sworn some one was about to scream. Anyway i walk around trying to find my sister in Gameworks in Las Vegas which is actually underground below the strip. I talked to the manager who had no clue what was going on and then an hour later, he tells everyone that the arcade was closed due to an unknown reason. We leave and i only got to play 2 rounds and i had spent 35 bucks to get an all day pass.

My feet bleeding when i was playing Fascination MAXX on Extra Stage at first time. That really hurt and make me can't walk normally.
Once again, I usually see underage kids persuade to their parents or maybe they wanna try DDR and then they play awfully and the worst case, LEAVE the DDR without doing anything. I think DDR machine is NOT for Underage kids because DDR machine is not designed for underage kids, not underage consumable and underage kids consider NOT to play DDR until they know how to play DDR correctly.
NB : Underage kids (1 - 6 years old)

at six flags I tripped and fell off the dance pad because they forgot to lower the pad off the wheels. Oh and the two dance pads were not connected together either.

I was visiting Funland in London (I'm in England now) yesterday. Unfortunately, i kinda screwed up at Energizer Expert (on the ITG AC), which resulted in a fail. I also screwed up in the beginning of Leading Cyber while playing the SuperNOVA.
