The DDR FLOOR INFECTION is next to be revived. From the 4th to the 18th the three GUMI songs will be available for unlock again in case anyone missed them/didn't care enough to unlock them the first time.

On the SN2 beta, the original song had a speed up at the end that went to 324 BPM which is probably why was rated a 10 initially. Saturn had beta steps too which were more difficult [something like ~460 steps].

What Exactly are beta steps? Are they the step charts prior to the release of the game?

Pretty much. Beta steps are steps that are present before the release - they're normally only seen in test locations before everything is finalized. Usually in test locations, they keep an eye out for things and feedback on specific parts of the game - so sometimes that feedback can be put towards making changes in the final release - sometimes they will change things on their own. I imagine that re-charting of songs between initial versions and release is probably a little more common than we're aware of but only some of them have surfaced on the pre-release versions.

I hate to be That Guy but this is fake. That image is from a tweet that's about a day old and if it were real, 1) it probably would have been posted here yesterday, and 2) Konami would have probably said SOMETHING prior to dropping this. It's not like them to just go "oh thought the event was done? NOPE"

Wrong. The font Verdana was used in the fake image while real DDR interface uses some other font, probably from DynaFont...


Also: the "CREDIT: 0" text looks messed up. There's a watermark in the bottom right corner.
