Okay, so the Yankees are now going to face the Tigers in the ALCS.
This should be pretty pretty good.

It should be. I got the Tigers to win the whole thing. Now for my favorite part: College predictions:
Alabama @ Missouri: This one will be as ugly as showing Cannibal Holocaust in your local church. Alabama wins easily.
Florida @ Vanderbilt: Florida comes in over a huge win against LSU, but the Commodores are fighting to save their season. Florida pulls out a close one in Nashville.
Stanford @ Notre Dame: A defensive struggle. Is Notre Dame back? Noooooooot yet but they're close. Notre Dame wins a low scoring affair.
Illinois @ Michigan: The Fighting Illini have been..........subpar to say the least, and this game is in Ann Arbor. Illinois is in BIG trouble. Michigan Wins.
South Carolina @ LSU: There's something about Tiger Stadium on a saturday night, a mystique of sorts. But Head ball coach Spurrier and South Carolina go and take care of business in Baton Rouge.
Northwestern @ Minnesota: The Wildcats are famous (or infamous) for collapsing in October, and Minnesota would like nothing more than to continue this trend. But Northwestern pulls this out
On an end note, has anyone seen how good Western Kentucky, UTSA, and Duke have been? Almost all 3 are bowl eligible, and Duke CAN beat Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. With that, i conclude this.

To be honest I haven't been following sports lately, mostly because I'm just interested in the NBA now, so I guess I'm waiting until its tipoff. From baseball, I might just watch the World Series, and about the NFL, I don't care about it.

So i missed one prediction yesterday. But the AP poll came out today and the top 5 are as follows:
1. Alabama
2. Oregon
3. Florida
4. Kansas State
5. Notre Dame
The only issue i have is that West Virginia is ranked #17 and Texas Tech is rated #18. Why? Because Texas Tech steamrolled West Virginia 49-14 yesterday. It's really not right at all

Honestly, Notre Dame should not be in the top 5, nor ahead of LSU.

In other sports news, looks like Vettel's pretty much going to get the F1 driver's championship.
Again. Oh well. Having PSY himself wielding the chequered flag was fun.

Crap, I have to edit my post because I just watched a replay of an event in WWE between John Cena and CM Punk. Or has it yet happened? I can't tell since I rarely watch sports on TV. /slowpoke

It's going to be the Detroit Tigers against the San Francisco Giants in the World Series.
I have no idea who's gonna win this. Should be pretty good.

Probably the Giants...seems like the NL teams are stronger this decade.

I had always thought the AL teams were stronger, because they got the superstars and in my opinion the most known teams, but it seems that's not the case, the NL has been consistent on its playoff runs.

I think it'll be a great series. I'm rooting for the Tigers but I think that the Giants have a chance after seeing how they pounded the Cardinals in the last three games of the NLCS.

The AL was the dominant league for most of the 00's, then the shift of power (and pitching) happened...

After a four game sweep against the Detroit Tigers, the San Francisco Giants win the World Series.
