I like how Bemani is making an IIDX game based off of something Nuclear when there's the whole Japan situation.

Anyways, overall, the theme looks promising. Now I'm going to put my eyes on, IMO, the other two important parts of an IIDX game, the setlist & the Extra Stage system.

The new "towel" will by a puddle of Nuclear Waste.

I'm not a fan of them using a default Windows font for the "beatmania" part of the logo. But I like everything else.

Lincle like lin-col like or Lincle like lin-cleh?

Also, I remember someone posting that odd numbered IIDX games were hardcore (11: RED, 13: DistorteD, 15: Troopers) and the even numbered IIDX games were happy (12: HAPPY SKY. 14: GOLD, 16: EMPRESS). Does anyone think this game will be hardcore or happy?

There's a theory that it's a word play for "linking".

リンクする (Rinku suru) "To link". Take out the す and it becomes リンクル (Rinkuru/Lincle).

That was uncalled for and unnecessary.

If this was an Append, it would have been called Resort Anthem Append. Maybe the link thing is saying it has a ton of crossovers from other bemani games.

It's definately a pun about some sort of "link" gimmick. The logo is a pair a interlocking rings.

I can't fathom how a gimmick like that would work, though. Session Mode obviously didn't work, and the "Append Festival" gimmick was sort of cute, but anything more would expose the fact that almost every generation of Bemani has had songs like Kakumei, Deep Roar, Sakura, Flow, Naedishiko, which are featured in one game as "new konami originals", and then show up less than 2 months later, in another game that was obviously in development at the same time as the game it "debuted" in.

The only thing I can maybe imagine is if the theme of the game was artist collaborations?

I went back to the days of PS1 Link mode and thought that was cute.
