"On ZiV I'm like Princess Diana"

Does anyone else remember this show? It ran on Nickelodeon in the mid-90s and detailed the life of "Rocko" a Wallaby living in "O-Town" co-starring his unconventional friends Filburt and Heffer and his wacky neighbors Mr. and Mrs. Bighead.

I was about 8 while this show was on, and my little mind could not grasp just how DIRTY this show was. Case in point:

I still love the show to this day and I think it's a great example of how cool cartoons used to be.

I heard something that one of the co-producers of this show created SpongeBob SquarePants right after this show was done...

...ALSO some of the voices from Rocko's Modern Life have been voiced by Tom Kenny, the voice of SpongeBob

...i loved this show when i was a kid (both Rocko's and SpongeBob) XD

It was in fact his 1st show. He also did Dog from CatDog.

Aside from the Mighty B (which ALSO has some producers from Spongebob and possibly Rocko's), the network is just a bunch of unwatch-able shows and teen-filled shows that aren't even up to par with other good ones like they used to back in the day...

...what i am thinking is: What happened to Spongebob? Between it's first four seasons, the show was AMAZING! Now the new seasons are a bit too...childish (in the sense) =/

I used to watch Spongebob and Fairly Oddparents, and I'd say they are probably the only two children's cartoons these days that are worth watching.

That may be true, but i somehow feel that both shows have grown too old for me (in a way, the new seasons are just not what i would have expected from their older seasons...basically i think that the old seasons were the best ones while the new ones are pretty lame).

So far the only show that i actually look forward to in Nick is The Mighty B!

I miss that show. My sister and I always watched it together. Sucks how we don't get as many good cartoons as good as these ones nowadays. Now we get stupid shows like iCarly (i hate that show with a passion) that take up space.

It's not good when your 2 top cartoons are almost 10 years old. (I think Fairly Oddparents is 2001).

Invader Zim was probably the most randomest, hilarious shows i have seen Nick produce...

...but since it was NICKELODEON, after the first season they canceled the show due to some weird explicit content/violence or something like that (it made kids do wierd things pretty much, you know, kids act what they see on TV and junk?)

I don't care, that show ruled Very Happy
