Since I got accepted by a Manhattan voice teacher, I'm going to be going to NYC every other week. Which means if I can get my mom to take me to Chinatown Fair, I get to play DDR2013 and IIDX SPADA every other week. Sounds like a good deal to me.

Does anyone else remember THIS awesome show? :3
Just wanted to bring up an under-rated CN show. (The cancellation reason is...just sad.)
Time for a Let It Out callback. Y'know, since Easter is in 5 days.
Gotta remember this for Easter, can't wait to make my own jelly beans

the fact that arcades are extremely fucking expensive in america, i had 500$ to use for arcades only, now i'm down to less than 100$ in less than 4 months

Goodness gracious, $500 on arcades? Do you skip the machines that are 50 cents and just go to the ones that are $2?
Lots of places also do deals, such as the $10 power hour in D&B getting you at least 50 credits on a machine, more than enough for a single day.
Also. Maya 2015. Use.

the ones that cost 50 cents are in awful condition (pad greats, no freezes, bars are wobbly)
the one I go to used to be 2$ per game but they lowered it to 1.25$ (due to the pads being is awesome condition). it's really rare to find a working cabinet in Florida, let alone with properly working pads.
i went to an arcade that i regularly go to and the operator loaded up 5 turns for the extreme machine for me. also the power went out due to rain and the arcade gave everyone that was in the middle of a game 50 credits as compensation, so not bad.
and before people point out the X2 cabinets near D@B, i'm all the way in clearwater so there's no way in hell that's happening. the only benefit living over in clearwater (arcade wise) is because there's an IIDX machine that's around 30 minutes away from my place that's 75 cents, and in good condition. they also have a supernova machine in good condition for 75 cents.

With the money you had spent, you could have gotten a dj dao though...
Also, Florida is huge.
Miami has some ok places. Same with Orlando..
As long as you're having fun and hanging out with people, it doesn't really matter in the end as it is entertainment.
Just trying to point out that there isn't much if any good spots rhythm game-wise around the whole lot of the US.
The places that hit the jackpot are like in California or the Northeast...if places like Peter Pan were up.
