What do you think a 20 in DDR X will be like?

Like I said, I'm not in the best of my moods right now, and i don't even know why i chose to criticize the
ten-footer difficulty rating instead of the newer twenty level difficulty ratings.

You do have a point though, NGO/Unreal are pretty darn hard even on just keyboard compared to
Healing Vision Angelic Mix.

And they're the same as the half-ratings of DS feat. TKD I used to assert on a poll about the DDR ratings on bemanistyle. They introduce the new system to better rate both old and new songs.

And for the record, I'm writing about another problem (non-ddr) of mine on "another website".
I must be a very problematic person and the weather agrees with me (1:05 here in the midnight,
and a storm is happening right now).

A 20 in DDR X...is a pending trip to the hospital. Seriously, a 20 in DDR X could be something along the lines of FELM or with 8ths (or even 16ths) in the 400bpm sections, with twists and turns to strain your back (and then some)

I never thought of the flashing as meaning anything, since it arbitrarily marks the boss songs as flashing (although ratings have become even more inconsistent since then).

Also, on SM, anything 10 or higher is flashing.

You're all putting too much thought into this.

It's going to be something like PARANOiA HADES with shock arrows. The shock arrows are going to come during a slow section to make you strain your eyes to figure out what to step on and what will end your play in the next second.

In other words, the shock arrows are making the 20, not so much the steps. Anything faster than 400 BPM 8th notes is complete crap anyway, no matter how much the steps "make sense."

Then again, I could be wrong.

Surely no one can ever pass this level. I'm sure at the start there's too much arrows that you have to follow and then there's also a blast off of very sppedy music. Maybe, it sounds like Pluto Relinquish and MAX. (period) of both 2MB... I like them both.. I also passed both of them///

If you ARE wrong, that wouldn't be a good thing. Konami has already shown they don't care about writing decent charts for 400 BPM boss songs. The Fascination could have been better, and Pluto Relinquish's streams are there just to be there, or so it seems when juxtaposed against the more sparse bass hits of the rest of the song. If you're right, that wouldn't be any better, because that means an artificial boost to the difficulty with gimmicks worse than what we've seen. Speaking of which, I think I'd rather have numerous pauses over anything else.

What? Go back and play or watch that song in SM. The streams ARE the bass hits. You can diss the step placement all you want, but the steps follow the song perfectly.

It might surprise you to learn that Relinquish's chart was made by the same person who did Angelus, Blind Justice, and Chikai.

Just about as hard as Hasse Mich 13.

Surprising that such a stupid challenge chart (I like PR's heavy chart, though) came from that step designer, but now that you mention it, makes sense because these four songs all have arrows that match the beat very nicely.

Except the 12th bass for PR expert double, eh.

Essentially, yeah. PR and Angelus pretty much follow the obvious sounds, whereas Blind Justice and Chikai dig deeper into the song in a that wouldn't have otherwise been done by Konami.

But on the other end of the spectrum are the really stupid ones, like Bloody Tears, Shades of Grey, etc. Whoever wrote those needs to be fired.

Bloody Tears I found to be good, but a little too easy and predictable. Shades of Grey, on the other hand, was utter trash (the steps, not the song).
