It's around the time of year where we're all sick of work/school/etc, so...HOLIDAY!!!!
Where are you headed this summer, if you are at all?
I'm going off to Orlando for a couple of weeks at the end of August. Mainly to find an SN2 machine, but more to eat more than my own weight in food, just to turn my back on the 'junk food is bad for yooouuuu!' stigma of Britain
So, where you guys off to?

No holiday this year for me, I'm doing summer classes until late July and college starts again in August.
If I had any money, I would probably go somewhere.

Heading to Spain 24th July to 18th August. I'll then come back for around a week here in London, then go to the other side of the Atlantic for 1-2 weeks.

I spent last week vacationing in a few places. It was the first time I had ever been to New York City, so I was pretty excited. Being on top of the Empire State Building and in the middle of Times Square was pretty fun. I ended up taking a lot of pictures.
Planning on going somewhere in July as well.

I'm sure I'll probably adventure out somewhere this summer, just not sure when or where. Maybe I'll try to go to Omaha again before school starts back up, and hit up the DistorteD and Pop'n 14 machines ;)

I will go to New Jersey for a week, and have my only two (count 'em: TWO) chances I get per year to play ITG. The highlight of my entire summer, possibly the year too. <3

Because ITG2 is my favorite game ever, hands down, and the anticipation that builds up during the 360+ days I don't play it makes me enjoy it all the more when I finally play on that dedicab in Wildwood, for what is usually two days. Simply the increased skill level for a four-panel game is why I like it better than DDR, I usually play the 10's and 11's only. And custom songs, 11's and 12's there.
I even tried to talk with my dad and see if we could get an ITG2 dedi from the guy on DDRFreak from Tampa FL's MOSI arcade for 9.5k, reasoning that I could play ITG for free, and sell it for more eventually, then pay him back and still keep a profit. He actually considered it, until I contacted the guy from MOSI and he said the machine was sold. The only other person selling an ITG2 dedi AFAIK is Xantar (I don't even know if he still has it), and it' for 13k, which Dad said is ridiculous. He said 13k is about what the annual salaries of his employees are.

Dude, you can get the best metal pads around (whatever you may decide they are), a nice monitor, and computer for SM, for less than a dedicab. Why do people who don't run arcades even consider it?

Well, the only reason I suggested a dedicab over an SM cabinet is that dedicabs will become more and more expensive as the dedi count thins out. I could have made a couple-thousand $ profit to go with the free dancing, if I had gotten that 9.5k dedi.

I agree with Kyzentun. I wouldn't have any good place to put the machine other than the garage, and my dad is not about to park his car outside like everyone else on our block lol.
