Hello, I played ITG2 in the "Tilt" section of Southland Mall (Hayward, CA) and custom songs were enabled. When I was searching for my USB songs, it only loaded 18 songs instead of every song on my USB. I researched online that 50 songs were the maximum per each USB player, but it was like a lie. Could you please help me find out what is wrong with the song amount?
(During that time, I couldn't do "LUV TO ME (AMD MIX)" or "Mermaid girl" since they were not loaded by the machine.)

Do you have just .SM and .MP3/.OGG files on there?

It can take up to 50 songs but never loads all 50 depending on the size of the files. Also make sure your songs are under 2:00 or you have OGG patched your songs. (OGG patch trick will not work on R23 update, just R21).

Yes; the songs are under two minutes, but still will not load the rest.

All machines are different. Some will load tons of songs off USB without a problem, others (like my machine) barely load a handful, even with the load USB song timeout set to max on OpenITG. It's probably just the machine's age that's causing trouble. Try limiting your card to 15 songs and you'll get more consistent results.

Get a faster USB or better still put less songs on it.

50 songs IS a limit, but also the usb timeout for pulling songs off the usb's is 10 seconds. (I believe).
So if you use a slow usb, the cabinet's usb's are slow (which they are), the song or simfiles are big, or you have other files in the way (ie backgrounds, videos, etc etc) then you're going to hit that timeout far more quickly than you're going to hit 50 songs.
Fast, small USB with .sm and .ogg files in the songs folders, and clean your other files regularly and/or use a dedicated ITG usb.

I took two 8GB flash drives with me to "Anime Fan Zone" in Milwaukee and the only one that worked was my Sony Microvault flash drive, And it worked just fine. The Dane-Elec flash drive wasn't even noticed by the Machine.
