Also i'm assuming that most of the people that don't care aren't even interested in street fighter?
the fact that SSF4 is getting an AC release means that the japanese community will be more involved and on board with the game, meaning there are just more people to analyse the game and figure new shit out

here's the deal, capcom was pleased with MvC2 and TvCUAS sales, it shows them there is an interest in THAT KIND OF GAME, and that we might be seeing MORE VS SERIES TITLES in the future.

nothing in that says MvC3. it also doesn't say CvS3, TvC2, or anything else. for all you know, they might decide on sammy vs capcom or something else. no one knows, not even capcom.

also, capcom VP christian svensson has said that the deal for MvC2's re-release was a one time thing, the way things stand we will not see MvC3 any time soon (they also said no SSF4 AC so take it for what its worth). he did say, however, in response to a question about a compilation of the marvel vs series that "Marvel would be willing to play ball on something like that, but there's nothing in the works like this right now." in other words, marvel is willing to work but due to licensing issues (companies who have marvel characters under exclusive license) only a re-release can be done right now, no new games.

anyway, haters gonna hate. SSF4 is gonna rock. cant wait for them to balance out balrog so people quit bitching about me using a character i've played since the SNES days.

saibot brought up the legal issues preventing MvC3 from ever being made. MvC2 on XBLA and PSN, like MvC2 on PS2 and XBOX in 2002, were one-shot deals to bring that game to those platforms.

Anyway, SSFIV is gonna rock. Now I gotta brush up on my Dudley and Makoto.

that was over a year ago and since then all we've had is a re-release of MvC2.
god knows what that guy was thinking when he said that. he was probably thinking about the re-release, having misunderstood the question or something.
