| コメント | While I contributed a sim to ZIv's NES Collab project, this is technically the first simfile I ever really made, started in March of 2008. Rejoice, for you are about to download a piece of history.
It all started when I fell in love with this song while playing pop'n. I went to go look for a simfile on BemaniStyle and downloaded one of the several "the keel" sims they had. Upon starting the song, I was thrilled. The music both chilled and warmed me, the sim author had Roki gifs moving in the background, everything made me feel like a fucking GOD.
Then the steps came. It looked like the author had taken all of one run through selection recording mode in the Song Edit and decided that was enough. So much effort to sync the music with the bars and add an active background, just to be thrown into the shitter because of piss-poor steps. At that point, I realized Akino and Roki could only be done justice if I made my own steps.
Upon retrospect, it probably would've been easier to download someone else's sim for the song, but that story's not nearly as interesting. |
