How could you even remotely think that picture was real? Honestly, it couldn't have been more fake looking.

Just as an FYI, it seems that some stages besides Battlefield and Final Destination will be shared between the two versions. On the website right now, there is a picture of Wily's Castle with Mario, Mega Man and the Yellow Devil in it, but it's taken from the 3DS version instead of Wii U.

Not my fault for not knowing that the image was faked. People are getting way too good at image manipulation to the point that it's almost next to impossible to tell if an image is faked.

No offense, but you really must not have a good eye if you couldn't even tell that that was clearly an image edit of Brawl. Green Hill Zone isn't even in the 4th game so far, so that's one clear giveaway that it's fake. Common sense.

Even with a realistic-looking image, you can still probably logically acknowledge that it's fake. First of all, I doubt Sakurai would actually quit over adding Goku. Secondly... why would they add Goku? Just seems kinda strange to me, that's all.

The 3DS menu screen has been revealed in today's update.

I haven't seen much info of Smash 3DS, but is "challenges" like the challenges from Melee? If so, that'd make me pretty happy :p

They haven't revealed much about the game modes except for Smash Run and customization. I'm curious what the Wii U icon and the Games & More mean.

Oh I forgot to mention, the lower screen shows information of the selected game mode, as Sakurai stated in today's post.

Well as far as I can tell with the WiiU icon it could be that the 3DS can act as a controller for the WiiU Version and maybe all the boost stats earned in Smash Run could be transferred to a profile on the WiiU Version. But that's just speculation and what not.

More information has been announced for Super Smash Bros for 3DS. Today the Trophy Gallery was revealed.



A new option in unlocking trophies in the 3DS version was also announced in the form of the trophy shop. You can purchase trophies that you hadn't unlocked yet. You can purchase these trophies with either your shared play coins or the coins you have earned in-game. Also note that items can go on sale for a cheaper price.



There is no news if this same shop feature will be included in the Wii U version, but I've noticed that you can earn coins in VS Matches and other game modes, so the trophy shop is likely to appear.

The Trophy shop seems like a much better idea then the coin launcher. I hated the coin launcher because it would take hours just to try to get one trophy you had not unlocked yet and it just got really boring really quick.

I hope they don't have Ice Climbers in this game. They are a waste of a slot.

If anything, Ness should be coming back by default. I'm really hoping Lucas does, too. On top of that, Mr. Saturn and the Franklin Badge are back as items, so I really don't think Sakurai would bring back items of a previously represented series without also bringing back one of its characters.

Pretty sure Ness is Villager in that picture, and there's not enough of a convincing picture to say it's Ice Climbers to me. Sorry.
