Keeping DDR alive, one song at a time.

They might even announce TWO new songs for DDR.

We all know what gonna happen in BeNama #100: MORE SONG TO REFLEC BEAT AND SOUND VOLTEX!!! (and maybe they can add some song to pop'n and IIDX)

... but seriously, now DDR is following the path of Dance evo: One song per 1 or 2 months, with a bunch of songs/crossovers in a Bemani event or a DDR event (which will occur 1 time per year). And the sad part is: both have TAG as a sound director xD!

Since IIDX PENDUAL's 2nd OST will be out next week as well, I could see us getting some Copula info next week.

RDI got people excited for DDR because it was a more than just crossovers and one new song no one really cares about. Now that RDI is over, it's back to the same old same old. Maybe they will have something bigger for the next BeNama for it being the 100th episode but I'm not getting my hopes up for DDR news.

TAG should be fired as sound director and replaced by U1.

Yuichi was the sound director of the ミライダガッキ FutureTomTom BEMANI series. Following its end on July 31st, 2015, he returned to the DanceDanceRevolution team, and is now the head sound director of the series.

I'm not really sure how Konami doesn't put more focus into DDR, as we've seen it's probably the most popular game in Bemani (as shown by the Bemani Fansite's MUSIC CHECK; the most popular songs rated #1 for the months April, May, and June are from DDR: EGOISM 440, MAX period, and OTP).

I'm kinda complaining. I like the idol song here and there but for it to be the main focus of BeNama is down right disgusting.

I have nothing against the song personally, but I would have liked anything else pm.

Hhhh Take a Step Forward was one of my favorite TAG songs but with an okay chart. I kinda prefer the old vocals/lyrics, but then I prefer Tsubasa's music and chart. I can't tell if the lyrics are at all like the original without trying to look up bits and pieces but anyway~
Maybe this version will actually have the lyrics in the OST... whenever the next OST is in sight. ...

Ggh, why did I think there was a teaser for a third phase of RDI? I must be losing my marbles... or orbs.
