I was there earlier today to try out the machine; the pads seemed a little stiff, but other than that, the pads were pretty alright and responsive. Very grippy (then again, they're technically new anyway, so just going to see how it unfolds over time o.o)

We've been over the white cab pad stiffness before, caused quite a lot of drama the launch week of DDR 2013.

I just got home from the location test. It must have finally gotten online sometime after I left. Several people have been commenting on the panels being stiff for pretty much the entire time I was there (about 3-8pm). I can vouch for the Konami techs being there working on the problem. In case it is relevant to anyone it's four credits for a two song round. At some point a sign-up sheet was put out to help with play order.

I can't wait to see the first-ever attempt of OT'P" in American soil.... if someone gets there within a week and a half's time.

Jk, I don't really think we will get OT"P" in a week and a half time. If this Loc Test was for 1 or 2 months it would have been doable to get into that song.

you can play OT"P" within a day. I got all gems at the first day when RDi event just started.(spent almost 50 credits though.)

EXTRA ATTACK is also available. But I guess we could probably figure that out since all the other online features are working.

Is anyone even going to get to OTP by the time the location test is over? Anyway I am happy to see it looks like Konami is going all in on this. Like I said before, I hope something comes out of this and it's not IIDX GOLD all over again.

So does anyone think it's actually pretty cool that the Japanese versions of eAmuse connected games are data compatible (on the eAmuse side) with this LocTest version? I mean, we can unlock songs on the eAmuse network with different language versions and it not being stuck on different regions. I know this is already a thing since the different Asian servers are compatible but still. I'm just excited about all of this working out.

The problem is, there's only one machine and lots of people wanting to play in that machine. afaik they had to make a list of players so they can have turns.

Don't even joke!

Although, considering we have "official" IIDX machines up and running, it would be a very easy location test to do, since you wouldn't need to bring in an all-new machine to one. And if they wanted to, they could do this for all the R1 locations.



I would take that as a very good sign that the test is doing well, so even if no one gets to play OT"P", we might get more machines soon enough.
