How long have you played?

Hi I'm just interested in how long time you played, and how you made progress and stuff

I've probably started playing serious a month ago, playing DDR for 3 weeks straight and about 1 - 2 hours a day(it got really addicting lol). But I've been taking a break for a week for some reason :-/

Anyway, It's quite cool seeing myself progress and beating songs that I once thought I'd have NO chance beating Started getting familiar with those... quicker steps... the ones that are double as fast as the beat. I have no idea what to call them. I still have alot to achieve though... I've only just started being able to handle Standard songs... I usually B or a most of them after a few tries, but there are still some that are way too fast or confusing . Oh and now I can start playing heavy songs too ^^ Even though I don't get a super-high score like most people here.... heehee I can't wait to get better. Think I wanna go play now

ive been playing since like... im in 6th grade and now ima senior in highskl. =D
at first i thought it was stupid to play in arcades cuz u can do it at home without the embarrasemnt of sucking, but now its nothing to be ashamed of cuz no one is good at it naturally. i use to play every week at chuck e cheese. (DDR USA!) its not hard to get better if u play often. now i can do all the songs in DDR, and 11's in ITG.

That's cool I'm 18, and I only liek started playing seriously this year.. specially the last month.
I Wish we DID have arcades here... but Denmark is a boring country, and the city Iive in is small and boring too.. nothing to see :/ I wouldn't feel stupid. I actually enjoy people looking at me while dancing for some reason. Even if I suck :p.... Well I cant wait to get better, and then I'll be able to beat most people Hm... maybe I should start a DDR club in Denmark or something lol. Would be fun meeting like minded people

I've been playing seriously for about one and a half years, I've managed to pass MAX300 six weeks ago.

I’ve have been playing for around 2 and a have years. I’ve passed a few 10 footers, but nothing like max 300.

I've been playing for about 4-5 years now. I started playing with a group of friends at a local arcade called, 'Paradise Island.' That's where I was introduced to the arrow-smashing craze.

I started playing since 7th Grade. My sister wanted to work out so she got DDR Extreme for PS2. But she left it at my house for like...months, and i started to get addicted. I remember, my first song ever played (and failed) was Tsugaru.

My 1st song was Let’s Groove on DDR MAX2 CS.

I started playing the summer before MAX 2 US CS was released, my first song was Remember You, but my friend put me on standard by mistake, so I played Ordinary World after that.

I started playing DDR two weeks ago. The first song I beat was Healing Vision (Angelic Mix) on Heavy. I beat Fascination MAXX the next day.

The stupid thing is that on other forms I’ve been on, that is what they say. Or it’s “I’ve played for 3 days and can pass FmaxX on ONI." It’s BS.

3 years and a few months now. I can do all the 10's on DDR Extreme JP AC except PSMO and ive gotten a few SDG's. No where near a AAA yet, still trying. I play alot of doubles recently, can do Maxx300 heavy doubles, want to try Unlimited or legend next.

Been playing since 5th grade.

my brother's first 3 song set was on konamix, and a song on baisc, a song on trick, and paranoia rebirth maniac(with a shit ton of double stepping) and passed them. after 3 days he passed max300 heavy on ddrmaxus(because its very straight foreword). its not impossible, you just need to already have the stamina, knowlegde of music and how beats work, and some rhythm.

i've been playing since i was 15... so 7 years? christ...

I used to play about 4 years ago, but I barely got above standard. Then I started playing seriously near the start of this year, so far I have 23 AAA's, and have passed every song with A or better (this is not including FAXX, FELM and Chaos, although I can pass them all on nonstop courses).

I first got into it when I was like 8, then was not into, then I got back into it when I was like 10, then was not into it, then I got back into it for a while, and now I'm at where I'm at. I've never gotten an AAA on anything, not even on beginner, but I can get easy As on tiring songs like Exotic Ethnic, etc. I can only pass 10-footers on the controller, but I can do Sakura Expert and get an easy A at the arcade. Unfortunately AND fortunately, it's now a 9. I can't brag anymore, but it's at the difficulty it should be at now.
