DDR ringtones

I am not sure if this is in the right thread or not (plus i KNOW there was a thread about this, but it seems that i can't find it anywhere), but i was wondering if i can find a place where i can get like the "sampler" versions of the song as a ringtone (i FINALLY got my phone reactivated today)

Get a program like WavePad or Audacity. Take the MP3 of the song, measure out the same length. Cut appropriately. Send to phone.

Better yet, what phone service do you have?

T-mobile, but it's prepaid so i can't get the internet on it, only the T-Zone thing

I use CellSea, I make my own ringtones & send it from my computer to my computer phone

I use Verizon myself. I just send ringtones from my e-mail to my phone as a sound message.

Right now for text messages its Cobalt by Des-ROW, pic messages its Whispers in the Dark by Skillet, ringtone itself is Gently the rain sings for me by HOLSTEIN & voicemail is Sense 2007 by good-cool

You got T-Mobile. If it has bluetooth, he can transfer it to you. Just don't expect him to share so willingly. It's not an awesome ringtone when EVERYONE has it you know

I know this is kind of obvious but does your phone support microsd or minisd cards? I used to use audacity but my new phone (HTC touch pro) has this nifty little program that comes with it called mp3 trimmer so you can just edit mp3s on it and use them as ringtones. Right now I have Harmony and Lovely as my main ringtone and sync (extreme) for texts

Unfortunately, the RaZr (i believe) models do not have SD card slots on them...i remember that my brother's old phone (LG Chocolate) did have SD card slots so that you can insert them for music and stuff...

I cut the songs using Audacity. However, I'm not really good at editing, so I apply a half-second fadeout. My phone (Samsung SYNC, AT&T) supports mp3 for ringtones, but not for message tones (when you receive a text or voicemail). Hopefully I can (or someone) find the continue sound from the Sonic the Hedgehog series, convert to MMF, and apply that as my message tone.

As for moving it to the phone, I use a microSD card, then use Bluetooth to copy to my other (inactive) phone, an LG CU400.

BTW, I currently have 28 ringtones (all DDR related) in my phone. RED ZONE being my main. I'm considering adding more in the future.

The Codec is so old hat for ringtones though. It was fun for a while, then I just got bored of it.

However, my message alert is full of win for it is the Suzaku Scream.

I also use WavePad to cut ringtones and stuff. I'm pretty good at editing stuff so I could just mix and match certain parts of a song that I'd want for the ringtone and stuff.
