ITG Accomplishments Thread

I actually passed Xuxa the same day I failed Hillbilly Hardcore (it was relatively close, and the latter was one of the last songs I played that day). Les Vacances does have jumps and is more draining than Hillbilly Hardcore, yet I did better on the former than the latter on the same day (although I played the latter later). If you ever feel like trying Clockwork Genesis, keep in mind that it has tricky step patterns as well as stepjumps (I believe a stepjump is what dealt the finishing blow to my life meter the one time I tried Clockwork).

I didn't played in 9 months...
Feeling with the pad different, no screen lag (ahah), different timing...
Like my first score this session 93ish on Oasis hard... ROFL.

(PS : scores are ordered by time, which means The Game was my first actual post worth posting)

Didn't even got a tri-star before this.

Up from... 94 ? (i think my previous best was done on freeplay during a tournament).

Finnaly tri-stared this one. I could have Spin Chicken too (which is , for me, the same style) even 19ex, got 3greats and 1 miss killed it.

Monolith [S][X] 90.44 (first try)

Lot lot of trouble with the arrows right after a 16th triplet (like left-down-left in 16ththen left just after in 8th.) I think that i killed my score a bit because of those moves (i have the same problem on Infection).

Determinator [S][X] 85.81 (first pass)

I don't even know how i cleared this. I played it because a friend wanted to try it. I failed on last stream because i was too lazy. I tried again a long time after and got this even if i fucked up badly the last run.

I got some other 98/99 on easy 9/10 but mostly with greats and miss in it... :s

I think that if i could pratice itg more, i can maybe be a "decent" player.
But oh well, that was so good to play again even if it wasn't for really long (one day, less than 7h with many breaks because i didn't wanted to die xD).

This star has a long story...I tryed to get it since I`m playing ITG cause my score on this song was always 95+ ... now I FINALLY got it... this song on this level was driving me crazy for 6 months!!! Got it on Keyboard yesterday night...and today on Pad!
Thank God I`ll have to play this again! Not on Medium!

@PHN!X : Nice Operation Evolution score. Yes the last 24th are a killer. One of the few time i played on my TX2501, i tried this song. I failed with 86 because of the last part.

the energizer crossovers are deadly.

Most people in my area don't bother playing songs with crossovers like that.

Got the 14 first, passed it again later on, then got the FF8 one, then played inside out on my last credit and got tired as hell so just stopped, as you can see.
Still, got the record because noone else plays courses either in my area. hah.

Well, it's been about 91 days since I last played arcade (although I have practiced on the floor with autoplay, played on keyboard, and played Dance Dance Revolution home version a little). I last played on a dedicab, but today I visited an upgrade cabinet.



This was the last song I played. This score astounded me -- I did not expect to pass, let alone achieve a new record (I once scored 62.xx% even though I failed, and my first -- and previously only -- pass was 51.xx%, lower than my two failing scores). It wasn't as tough or draining as I thought it would be for me, so maybe I am getting better at conserving energy...



I was pleased that I could still pass this. Despite the rating, I don't think it is any tougher than Hillbilly Hardcore.

This isn't necessarily tougher than Hillbilly Hardcore -- I think the reason I failed may be because I kept my feet too close together, which may be a result of practice-playing on the floor without any markers of any kind for the brackets.

It looks as if I am going to have to get used to playing on arcade pads again. Despite not having too bad stamina issues, playing Birdie and other easier songs seemed to increase my breathing rate -- I think I may have been stepping harder than necessary and/or less than perfect posture/form with the bar. There seems to be something about my technique or form or posture or something that needs a little work -- I think I had trouble lifting my feet up sometimes. Crossovers seem to be awkward with the bar. Today was actually encouraging, though

Thanks! Oh, my percentage on Pandy on Expert went up to 7.91% LOL, slowly getting there. I can almost pass it on Hard though. I also played Vertex today, but I failed that stupid ending. I wish I could memorize stuff.

I still can`t pass it on Hard, but I can pass 3/4 of the song on x1.5 ... I`m learning to read slow...I wish I could read at x1 like the Medium version...then I`d have no problems with the end.

I won`t try Pandy Ex again till I can pass a few 12s

I worked on timing for 3 weeks now... time to work on level again
I want to pass at least a few official 11s till the end of the Month!

It's been a long time since I've played ITG, and now my timing isn't nearly as good as it was before. Got some OK scores though.
Got two stars, but I'm gonna raise them to doubles or maybe even triples soon.
mute's Cherokee 97.70%

and Kagami 97.88%

And got one double star thats definitely gonna be a triple soon.
Tribal Style 98.94%

Soooo close, but i think I'll be able to improve these scores by at least 10 excellents really soon once i start to get my ITG timing and stamina back.

Wow I did REALLY good today. A lot of improvements for me. Got some scores that I'm very proud of.
First I played whitedrmario's Summer of 69 Remix. This is NOT AN 11. More like a hard 12-easy 13

Then a really nice score on CosmicPope's No Reason by Sum 41.

I also re-did mute's Cherokee, with great results.

This one I'm very happy for. whitedrmario's I Go Crazy. Fun chart, and I didnt know I would score so high on a 12...
