With a file size that big, I would suggest you pack this with a version of Stepmania. That way you could have your songs ordered the way you want along with being able to establish an Extra Stage system. You could also have the option of throwing in some Courses too

I would also suggest adding an unlock system, but I think I'm the only one who uses that feature

LONG POST ALERT!!!!!!

PEOPLE! I have something to announce. When I 1st started this project, I knew it was going to be the biggest simfile project I would ever do and possibly the biggest one this site has ever seen. I thought that having people wait and wait and then just bring the flood of content would be a selling point. However I think that plain has become the thorn in this rose of a simfile pack. With that being said, I think I might open a category and release then single file as to one giant pack. About 60% of the file is just videos, if I do single file, you don't have to get the videos with songs. Also it would mean I can AT LAST release this thing in pieces. My question is this...

Would you A. Have one giant pack

or

B. Have a category for PandemiXium with songs being in single file.

Videos and courses will also be downloadable when finished. I just think a category would be better seeing how this is starting to become the Duke Nukem Forever of song packs. I want to know what you all think.

C. A category for PandemiXium with songs being in single file, then press the Create Pack button and the option to download one Giant Pack is available, it's the best of both worlds.

For the record the Dance Praise Simfile project I'm hoping to finish up soon is 963MB with only 89 Simfiles (80% of them have music videos; shouldn't get any larger from this point on since all I have to do is create more Challenge charts). There's a couple songs I left out because I had already created a simfile for them (ahem Jesus Freak) or the pack could easily have been 1GB.

Well song packs aren't supposed to be "Mention then release the next week" projects right? If it's going to take another two months I'd just say go with the fragmented release. If it's not going to take that long I'd keep at it and release it then. You can keep the other idea as a fall back just in case you run into problems.

No need to. It would be fine with the default Stepmania theme You could also ask someone if you could pack your simfiles with a specific theme too.

Now about your predicament, I would say release it as a whole pack and then maybe upload it all individually in the future. That way, every song is promoted equally at the beginning.

Also I've decied not to make anymore double charts. It has been the thing that has crippled this song project. I'll be honest, I HATE making doubles and it's to the point that I don't even want to make the files anymore. Also I'm not much of a doubles player. Double charts are just not my thing, simple as that. I thought I would try them as an experiment to the pack but it just did not cut it with me. Sorry if this pisses off some people.

HOWEVER if you do send me a doubles chart a la PM, I will gladly update them to the pack.
