Almagest sounds pretty epic, definitely better than Himiko. (Which I found to be a really boring OMES anyway)

I was hoping Evans wouldn't be a 12. At least I got the 6/10 part just about right.
I'm very glad Almagest is an 11 on Hyper though. And yes, I did notice "AIR RAID FROM THA UNDAGROUND".
There also doesn't appear to be any black Anothers.

how works "League Mode"?

LEAGUE MODE consists of two separate leagues, the SCORE LEAGUE and the CLEAR LEAGUE. You can only pick one to play at a time.

In the SCORE LEAGUE, you will gain higher ranks depending on your EX SCORE and DJ LEVEL.
In the CLEAR LEAGUE, you will gain higher ranks depending on your MAX COMBO and MISS COUNT.

You will get four songs in LEAGUE MODE, of which SONGS 1 and 2 will be randomly selected while 3 and 4 you can pick yourself out of a limited list of songs that get changed weekly.

Depending on which rank you are currently at, you must play the mode the specified amount of times in a week to gain LEAGUE POINTS towards your next rank. If you don't manage to play the specified amount, you will stay at your current rank until you exceed it. Once you have exceeded the specified amount, depending on the amount of LEAGUE POINTS you have gained in the current week, your rank will either get demoted, promoted or stay the same.

If you reach S RANK and don't play for over a month, your rank will automatically get demoted. This does not apply for D-A ranks.

Your LEAGUE POINTS are calculated depending on the LEAGUE you are playing.

SCORE LEAGUE POINTS = EX SCORE POINT + CLEAR BONUS + DJ LEVEL BONUS
CLEAR LEAGUE POINTS = COMBO POINT + CLEAR BONUS + MISS COUNT BONUS

Depending on the specified number of plays, the game will pick that many of the plays you have played in the week if you have managed to reach the specified number of plays required that week. It will pick the best plays to calculate the LEAGUE POINTS.


Simplier than it sounds I reckon. There might be some translation errors so keep that in mind.

This actually reward e-amusement players when got a specific rank, like DDR SN2's Zukin Wars ?

Well since the Jubeat crossovers are probably tied in with the Ripples Append release, I imagine this is more for the straight-up competition.

Looks also like in each league, the EX Score (Score League) and Max Combo (Clear League) are the biggest factors, contributing up to 300 of the 500 points earned per song (300 x EX% or Combo%, from BEMANIwiki).
