ZIversary: Zenius -I- vanisher is 10 years old today!

Realizing I haven't said anything for myself yet, I want to say that I haven't even been on this site as a registered user for a whole year yet, yet it feels like ZIv is my home. I had been lurking here since May 2015 (wow, a year ago...when I first became a hardcore BEMANI fan) and didn't register until November of that same year, and I never knew I'd be as successful of a user here as I am now! I've been able to connect with so many BEMANI fans from around the world, made new friends, and even - thanks to the "Arcades" portion of this site - discovered working DDR and Pop'n Music machines only minutes away from my house! My life would've been so different if I hadn't signed up for ZIv. Even though I've only been here for nowhere near as long as most users here, I hope that the next 10 years of ZIv are just as successful as the first 10!

I'm also anticipating a 6th Style on the horizon...

Can't believe it's already been 10 years for this website. Despite a bump in the road, (Early 2015) I've still enjoyed my time on Zenius-I-Vanisher. Thanks to ZIV, I feel like I've gained not just knowledge in rhythm games, but also arcade games in general. I've met some cool people, who also like arcade & rhythm games, and I hope this website still continues to be awesome. Cheers to ZIV.

I know I already said my peace here, but because its been so long, I changed my icon to my very first icon I had on this site

I've been here since day 1 of this site.

In 2006-2007, I was 10. (If I said I was any older than that, I was lying.) I wasn't even a member on here. I just remember going to this site and thinking "Oh my god, this is the first site to have similes of Extreme 2, Ultramix 3, etc!"

In 2008-2009, I registered my first account, and never realized there was a rating system, and I was close to -100. What do I do? I start getting too paranoid to post anything, then made multiple accounts, and committed multiple unmentionable mistakes on this site. After those mistakes, I've been banned and pretty much took a 6 year hiatus from this site, as a member, but not as a guest.

In 2010-2014, I still went on this site as a guest, and stayed tuned for DDR news and stuff, while I was working on high school work and making RPGs. As I kept growing up more and more, I started realizing I was wrong and I lied a hell of a lot. I had the "what's done is done, it's just the past" mentality....until I couldn't take it no more in 2015.

In 2015, I re-registered one last account, which is this account that I'm using right now, and I bravely apologized to the ZIv community on my very first post since 2009, and admitted that I'm just a crazy 19 year old man with a one-of-a-kind imagination. Quickly after that, I went from the most hated member on this site to one of the most entertaining members on here, and because of this, my paranoia (that made me hesitate from posting) stopped.

In 2016, looking back at the past, I was a complete different person. I love and respect every single ZIv member on here, even if you've argued with me. Happy decade anniversary.

I've been here for 9 of the 10 years. I'm happy that this was the place that I can call home online and was really my first internet community that I was actively apart of. It's crazy joining this site when it was just under 1000 members and having to go to the local coffee shop just so I could have good enough internet to upload and download similes. I honestly don't know where I would be in life without this place and everyone here. So many moments to remember like Team Billy Mays and the countless bemani news over the years. Come on Pandy sniff don't get emotional here. ;`)

I don't remember exactly why I joined. I probably started using this website for the Arcade Locator & Simfile Selection, then chose to sign up on a whim. This is a pretty chill place, I guess. I've met some cool people here, though I don't think I've made any lasting internet friends yet. Taco Bell is still cooler, though. If Zenius was better than Taco Bell, that'd be the day, I tell you what...

Happy ZIversary! I've only been on this site for under 2 years, but I'm glad I found it. From obtaining DDR simfiles to locating arcades to even competing in simfile competitions, I have used this site in many ways and would not be the same without it. Here's to another 10 years!

I remember being driven out of the ITG community back in 2011. I had made many enemies back then, and completely ruined my reputation & old alias.

I eventually came across this website, and it was the first place I decided to hide away in. Started over, new name, everything. The one site the ITG community would never dare go near. The rating system here ensures the Junkyard posters are kept at bay.

The Arcade Location feature became a very useful tool for me in finding new arcades to venture out to. And the simfile database...a godsend is just putting it lightly. I remember I joined up at around the time ITG Rebirth 2 was being developed, which is what lured me in.

5 years, and 3 sim tourneys later, I've come a long way since the old days of FFR, Bemanistyle, and my old self. I am thankful for the progress I have made, but I still have a long way to go in improving myself, and my simfile making. Here's to another 10 years of Z-i-V, and many more to come. Hear, hear! *raise glass*

I remember when I joined 4 years ago when I was a freshman in high school when I downloaded DDR songs on my phone. Today, I'm reading up on the newest news on DDR, downloading songs for Stepmania, and uploading my DDR/SM achievements. I love this site. Happy ZIversary everyone!

Almost 5 years for me here, geez.

First joined to update the machine tracker and to message someone about a tournament, now I've basically gone full circle from posting back to pretty much only updating the tracker - still, it's been a pleasure speaking to pretty much everyone I've had the chance to, doubly so for those I've met in real life.

On that note I've done tons of dumb things involving here and music games in general to this point, sorry for being literal shit, and here's to another 10 years of ZiV!

My my my, to think I've pretty much been here since the very beginning (9.4 out of 10 years is close enough lol)... Makes me think of my road to even getting here . . . FFR, StepMania, SMGroove, r21freak, and finally here. This place is truly my internet home. I can't believe it's been 10 years already, my, how time flies. I was here as a guest since 2010, decided to create and account in 2012 but not started to post until mid 2014. Altough I'm not very active (mainly because I'm not very good at english and most of the time I don't know how to express myself-I'm struggling to write this post!) I visit Zenius -I- vanisher everday and is my favorite internet site. I'd learned so much in here, my life would be much different without this. So happy ten years!

I didn't even realize that I've been a member on here for 9.3 years. I don't post in the forums that much anymore, but I do check this website literally every single day. It's also been the best place for hosting my simfiles, so Happy 10th anniversary and thank you, Zenius-I-vanisher.com.

Wow... ten years. And I've had an account for almost 8. Damn.

I'm barely active in the community anymore but I'm really glad to see that it's still alive and well here. Congratulations on hitting ten years ZIv, and here's to ten more!
