Well...it seems Konami's got a lot more going on right now than global E-Amuse. Very sad to see this happen.
Edit: God damn auto correct. It's supposed to say Kojima.

A fallout between Kojima Productions and its owning publisher, Konami, has led to senior staff at the studio being restricted access to corporate internet, emails, and phone, GameSpot understands.
Along with the restricted communications, key developers at the studio, such as Hideo Kojima, will now have limited opportunities to lend their appearance to promotions of the studio’s upcoming game, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. Power struggles between Kojima Productions and Konami have led the publisher to make drastic changes, including the employee status of its Metal Gear team. Some senior staff at the studio, including Kojima, now essentially work as contractors, not permanent employees.
The extraordinary measures were revealed by a source within the studio, speaking to GameSpot on the condition of anonymity. The person explained that, once the Phantom Pain project is finished, in all likelihood the management at the studio will disband.
"After we finish MGSV, Mr. Kojima and upper management will leave Konami. They said their contract ends in December," the source claimed.
The person added: "At a team meeting, Mr Kojima explained that team have to be one and make a good game for fans."

Wow what a shame. His name often appeared in the credits of old school 5 key beatmania games.

With Kojima stepping down, MGS definitely won't be the same, although I don't know if the series will fall or improve.

If anyone would give us global e-amuse, it would be him. Keeping my hopes high for the future.

I think 'MAX. (period)' went arcade DDR2014 is the foreshadow of this.
It's not the conclusion of the DDR, but the end of console games by Konami.

I was looking forward to Silent Hills after playing P.T. Disappointed to see that its existence is most likely in jeopardy.
Hopefully Hideo Kojima can make the games he wanted to make.

Here's an official statement Konami has sent about the future of the Metal Gear franchise. https://uk.games.konami-europe.com/posts/Notification-Regarding-METAL-GEAR-SOLID-V-THE-PHANTOM-PAIN
At least it sounds like he's going to finish The Phantom Pain. I still think pulling his name off the game is lame but at this point who doesn't know Metal Gear is a product of Kojima? Honestly I think Kojima is going to retire after TPP. He's getting up in age if I recall and what more can he possibly do at this point? Remember he wanted to stop doing Metal Gear Solid after 2.
My worry is with the future of Metal Gear, seeing how they are going to keep going with the franchise without Kojima. That it's going to be Resident Evil all over again and the series goes to crap. Not only that I feel bad for whoever takes it over the Metal Gear franchise because the majority of fans will hate him mainly because he's not Kojima. It's going to be David Hayter all over again.

oh no one person left the company whatever should we do help police murder
To be honest, I really don't see why this is such a big deal. I don't see business changing much with dear ol' Konami over this, and the projects Kojima is working on will still be likely released. Methinks the people making this out to be some catastrophic event are overreacting a tad bit.

Oh... well if this is true, Konami made a terrible mistake.
