Update 1-29-18: The only dance game left is a Pump It Up Prime in the main Time-Out arcade. Vegas ain't looking too good for DDR these days
Update 12-26-13: ITG machine is gone and seems to be replaced with another supernova machine (because they really needed two of them here?????). If the other supernova machine is any indicator I expect the new one to be equally crappy with sensors. Hotel is officially a dead zone for dance games so yeah don't come here until further notice. -SM MaxX
There are two arcades, both upstairs. The main arcade is a Namco Timeout up the stairs from the TGI Friday's towards the movie theater. The second is a smaller room up the stairs towards the bowling alley. The people working at Namco are very cool towards DDR and ITG players, and will do things like turn the machine volume up when asked nicely. When the location closes they are nice about letting players finish their games.

10 years agoSM MaxXAFAIK the ITG machine is gone and you really have no point to come here anymore for dance games; there's better places in vegas
10 years agoNuVirusNow that you mention it, I think it WAS busted, but it was probably fixed. The high scores (and lack of high scores) on most of the machine's simfiles is evident enough. I could be wrong...
10 years agoSM MaxXThe Orleans machine is working (ITG)? Wow I'm pretty shocked; I heard it was busted and they weren't gonna fix it
10 years agoNuVirusI just went to The Orleans Casino today to check on the machines. ITG2 is doing fine, but may need some tending to for repairs. Also, I am requesting that the menu timer is turned off, and that the fan-made ITG & MGD songpacks should be hacked on the machine. DDR SN is worse. I watched someone play P1, and I noticed that the Up arrow is somewhat unresponsive. The same goes for P2's left arrow, when I played one game on P2. I simply stuck with those 5s & 6s on the Basic difficulty, to avoid losing too much health whenever the left arrow does not respond. It did respond with a bit more force, but even then...thankfully I passed all three songs I chose (all on the Basic difficulty); MAX 300 SMMM, HVAM, and Paranoia KCET.
DDR Extreme is most likely gone. Couldn't find it anywhere, although there was some empty space in the corner of the small arcade with DDR SN. Makes me wonder...
In short, ITG 2 is your best "bet" (pun intended).
12 years agoRyuzaki573Now the SuperNOVA is in the bowling alley arcade with really bad pads. ITG2 in the main arcade is still perfect with 1-credit doubles. Insane amount of custom songs. Extreme is nowhere to be found.
