Information

Same pricing as any other D&B, so either try to play on Wednesdays (1/2 price games), or register for their Rewards program to get coupons. Being in the heart of a popular tourist destination, it can get pretty busy no matter what time you arrive, but Wednesdays can be particularly hectic.

Parking outside this location can be difficult depending on when you arrive, but there are plenty of spaces within a short walk, and valet parking is available for a small fee.

Comment: Update 11/25/13: Machine has been moved to the other side of the post it was in front of, across from Jetpack Joyride, which was moved a good distance from where it was first placed. It has been fixed up nicely. Both pads now work with almost no difficulty. Haven't tested USB ports, assuming they still don't work. Welcome. And yes, that's been a problem for a while. I watched them service it last month, and they were missing a few washers on that square.
Lukem19998 months agoLukem1999
I was here earlier. The right arrow on the 1P side has to be stomped to register, but that's the only problem I noticed. The 2P side plays perfectly.
no dice10 months agono dice
True enough. I'm hoping they actually do replace the sensors and the one guy doesn't stomp them into oblivion before I get some good play on them.
Aegis11 months agoAegis
Price, if anything.
no dice11 months agono dice
I watched the guy clean them out last night, then they were 'better' but still not good. He said they're replacing the sensors, but who knows when that will be. When X3 comes, I won't have much reason to go to D&B anymore anyway.
Bemani Dog11 months agoBemani Dog
1P up, 2P right, both suck.

I had more problems with Up and Right on P1. Neither side is very good right now, though.
tw3nz0r11 months agotw3nz0r
I forgot to mention I went Sunday night and P1 Left was twitching like crazy, anyone else see that?
no dice11 months agono dice
Had someone clean the pads out tonight. They're still acting up, but 1P is slightly more functional than 2P at the moment. The guy said they ordered new sensors, but they haven't gotten them yet. It really sucks getting no greats and pad misses.
redshoepaul11 months agoredshoepaul
Commenting to say I was here last week and 2P was fine. you Florida people have it under control.

I did tell the staff the arrows were sticking last time I was there, but they don't seem to have done anything about it. I wish I knew who to talk to directly, because I feel like when they say they'll let the tech know, they're just blowing me off.

They stick the worst when playing more difficult songs. I can't help but wonder if it has anything to do with stampede always going there and trying to stomp a hole through the pads.
Bemani Dog11 months agoBemani Dog
I was there early. It played okay, not perfect. Looks like 1P up is sticking; it was illuminating on and off when I was playing the 2P side. It didn't seem to affect me much when I played it though.

They must have a different staff than last year. The old staff basically told me to GET FUCKED.
SpongeFreak5211 months agoSpongeFreak52
Remember to put in a request with the staff when you have issues with the pads. The few times I've talked to folks they've been more than willing to help out.

The pads suck as of last night. Obviously.

@Mr.Music: I'm jealous! X2 is not a bad mix, in my opinion. They just don't keep up the pads very well at ours.

Who do you talk to about getting the pads fixed? I asked to talk to the tech, and they sent some random guy over. When I told him the pads were sticking, he said, "I don't think we can do anything about that." There were times last night where the pads were giving up to 10 misses in a song.
Bemani Dog1 year agoBemani Dog
I'll very likely be there Christmas Day, since it's a Wednesday.
no dice1 year agono dice
Did a power hour by myself and had enough credits to play nonstop for 3 hours. There were 10 credits still on the machine when I left.

Pads are getting bad, though. I let them know that the 1P up arrow is sticking, and that the 2P side is giving bad steps too. Hopefully they'll fix it. I think I'm going to hold off from going back until someone confirms they fixed them.
Aegis1 year agoAegis
Would get 110 easily without trying.
If you try doing it every 60 seconds, then 120 is the limit.
But...doing that is kind of hard because if you are too early it kills 3 seconds displaying a "please try again in 1 seconds".
Bemani Dog1 year agoBemani Dog
You could try each paying $10, and experimenting to see if you can get 100 credits :)
Aegis1 year agoAegis
Yep, the Power Hour is the best deal (starts at 4:30pm), especially with a friend. Said it some time ago down there in the comments. Hope you guys read that, heheh. Split up 5 dollars for 50+ rounds. Have fun playing things you usually fail without even thinking about the credit gone. Most likely if you are 1 person, that'll be more than enough past 20.
no dice1 year agono dice
Pads are pretty decent. 2P side gave me some random misses Wednesday night.
SpongeFreak521 year agoSpongeFreak52
Okay seriously, the Power Hour thing here is probably the best deal you're going to find for DDR around, especially since the pads are in as good of shape as they are now. Come before 7 PM and pay $10, then you can swipe your card in the machine once every minute. 50+ credits for $10 if you do it right, that's insane.
Bemani Dog1 year agoBemani Dog
1P up is sticking now. 2P is still alright.
Bemani Dog1 year agoBemani Dog
Played yesterday. 1P right arrow is getting loose again (that's ALWAYS where their problems start... stupid cheap Betson cabinets). 2P playing like a boss.
Bemani Dog1 year agoBemani Dog
A touch more volume might be nice.

The 1P right arrow is beginning to stick again as of 10/2/13. 2P is still working well.

GO ON WEDNESDAY! 1/2 Price Wednesday simply cannot be beat. If you can, buy as much credit as you can. 750 credits for $100 equals over 200 Wednesday plays, or 50¢ per play. It's still under $1 per play normal, if you're willing to spend the money and go there enough.
Aegis1 year agoAegis
There's a lot of Pump around though, lol. This is one of those rare DDR cabs here.

What would have been nicer -> more volume.
Could barely hear the music.
toby7ten1 year agotoby7ten
It's a real nice arcade. Shame no Pump or fighting games but I liked the place a lot. Good atmosphere for players.
Aegis1 year agoAegis
Went there yesterday.
Yeah, the left pad blows with the right arrow jacking up randomly.
No doubles. :(

If you ever go on a WEEKDAY, screw the Wednesday deal.
Pay 10 bucks for Power Hour (4:30pm - 7pm) and you'll get unlimited cred for 1hour. After 60 sec, swipe the card on a machine. Do it for the next 59 minutes (until it dies). You have 60 credits on your cab free to play for the rest of whatever amount of time you want. Just split 5 bucks with a buddy and have one of you swipe as the other plays/or after a song, idk, w/e floats your boat. <Budget>

Just visited this place, great machine but the left pad right arrow got stuck and wasn't registering. Other pad was great and so was the left pad for the most part. The staff seem to be on top of the maintenance.

I went there. The right pad was good. Down arrow got stuck in one game but it worked better later. Volume was very low. I had a very good experience there.
Aegis1 year agoAegis
Right pad for X2 was pretty good when I went yesterday.
I don't know about the left pad. Once I saw the right pad working fine, I stuck to it. Sorry if you play doubles.

Aegis1 year agoAegis
Yeah, getting AAA's is fun.
Carlitos^^1 year agoCarlitos^^
What KNS-17 said.
Carlitos^^1 year agoCarlitos^^
"Getting your moneys worth doesn't mean getting AAA's." That's your way of thinking, and I respect it.

"If you're aiming to get AAA's then you're not playing for fun, you're playing to get high scores which isn't fun and is really frustrating." I have a LOT of fun playing for AAAs. I've been doing it for more than 10 years, and if I have that long playing, it is because I LOVE to play for AAAs. Again, you have your way of playing and I respect it but you can't be going telling people how they should play the game, because everyone have their way of playing.
KNS-171 year agoKNS-17
I'd like to put in my own input and then leave, since i'm nowhere near Orlando and can't really say much about the machine itself. From what I understand, Carlitos just wants to play on a cabinet that works correctly so that he can get the scores he is capable of instead of being cheated by poor sensors and whatnot. I can relate to that issue, as can many people, so it makes sense that you would be upset if a machine doesn't work 100% and can mess up your scores. By the way, you can play for fun and still go for AAAs, it's all about your own preferences when it comes to playing.
Mr.Music1 year agoMr.Music
Getting your moneys worth doesn't mean getting AAA's. Neither does playing to play, which is what you should be doing. If you're aiming to get AAA's then you're not playing for fun, you're playing to get high scores which isn't fun and is really frustrating. Like Aegis said, there's not really a community, just a couple people, and I live in a different state so the only reason I'm posting is because I get the notifications.
Aegis1 year agoAegis
Not really a community here, lol.
Carlitos^^1 year agoCarlitos^^
It'll be nice to meet the community from there, too
Aegis1 year agoAegis
You're not sounding like one. You're sounding like a player who wants their money's worth.
Carlitos^^1 year agoCarlitos^^
Honestly? It matters to me. I don't want to sound like a dick, but I can't enjoy the game if an arrow give me crap. If I want to *enjoy* the X2 songs, I just download them for stepmania, but in the actual machine, I like to get the better score I can, mostly because I'm paying to play. Again, I don't want to sound like a dick, but that's what I personally think.
Mr.Music1 year agoMr.Music
Honestly, does it matter if you can AAA it? I mean, it's the only X2 around there and the pads work well enough, they don't stick or anything unless they got bad, but you shouldn't have any problems with it.
Carlitos^^1 year agoCarlitos^^
Are they good enough for AAA songs?
Aegis1 year agoAegis
I might check on the weekend if they are worth it. They aren't the best, but sometimes they work enough to pass the more difficult songs with AA's at least.
Carlitos^^1 year agoCarlitos^^
I'll be in Orlando with my girlfriend and I want to know how good are the pads??
Aegis2 years agoAegis
I didn't play doubles.
Mr.Music2 years agoMr.Music
So that wasn't you? You updated it around the same time I was there.
Aegis2 years agoAegis
Ach, what are you doing in Florida and not inviting me to play some free DDR?
Mr.Music2 years agoMr.Music
Went there yesterday, some guy playing doubles expert played Swingin' and ECSTACY. Was that anyone here? pads were much better than expected.
Aegis2 years agoAegis
Tried it today.
Left pad sucks. Right arrow on it doesn't work well.
Right pad was alright. Down arrow gave little problems after 100 combo.
Aegis2 years agoAegis
Just got back from there.
Pads are kinda there...
They are ok if you like it jamming.
Left Pad is best. Up arrow of it sometimes doesn't register notes.
Right pad has the Right arrow jam occasionally.

Maintenance shrugged the matter and told me to play softer than I already do.
Surfer_Clock2 years agoSurfer_Clock
Good luck trying to hear the song you're playing if you're playing X2. The background music was obnoxiously loud and definitely kept it from being an enjoyable music gaming experience.
