Unified Chaos
No way in HELL that's a 7, not with longer runs than any of DEAD END's...
This was a lot of fun. Good song and chart.

Video Game
I actually really enjoyed this, especially after the speed up, the patterns in the runs were well made.
A few doublesteps between sections, but none during the runs, which is where it counted.

The Devil
Detecting lots of vibes from the S12 there, haha. The turns worked well, and fit with the song nicely.

DURAGA NO TOU MEDLEY
Hahaha this was such a silly file. Like every part was good. Also, were those foot switches near the end?
I like how the slowdowns were less damaging because of the gap in arrows, here. Patterns good, too, but I enjoyed more.

I want you
The patterns were great, but maybe you could have followed different rhythms than just 8ths the whole way, but I guess that's also
part of the chart's charm.

Yeah it was pretty good

Poker Face
Well placed holds and wonderful stream patterns, but the streams were kind of run on and made it feel a little too long.

Canon-D
That random 4th run really broke the flow and introduced an empty feeling. For some reason this bit even stood out as more empty than the really big hold.

Clash on the Big Bridge
The ending stream really took an unexpected...

It wasn't bad. Song wasn't my favourite.

I found myself watching the video A LOT instead of playing the chart, haha.
The video is terrifying.

That was insane, haha, and it wasn't like DUMB insane either, it was like the tonesphere chart with a few more runs.
You do need to watch your doublesteps.
Didn't have as much personality as , and felt a little like 8th note spam in comparison...

Hardkore of the North
I felt that 380 speedup was kind of unnecessary, haha. I liked it otherwise, though didn't flow as well as twinklesky's

Watch out for flow breaking doublesteps, especially in that 380 section.
It was alright, but a bit of consistency can go a long way in terms of making a chart feel like it flows well.
In the beginning, it looked like you couldn't make your mind up about whether you were following the triplets as 12ths or 8ths,
and it broke the flow.

Honestly
Waaay too long.
The step rhythms were good, but there was a lot of doublestepping in the patterns.

Very inconsistent feeling. Spins were nice, but seemed somewhat randomly placed. A reference to a certain PiU chart maybe?
Much more uniform and easily predicted. Going to be much more fun on pad.

Struck by the rain
Awesome song choice.
The chart was definitely... Interesting? In a "Whoaa hoa hold on there which foot am I using now?" sort of "Doublesteps, doublesteps everywhere" way.

One
Even though I wasn't too much a fan of the song, the step placement was great.
The crossovers were well chosen and placed for the most part,
and the holds section was masterfully executed.

The Heat Is On
It was quite a bit of fun, the song choice was neat too. Some of the "start crossed over" crossovers felt a little forced though,
they didn't really fit with anything that was actually in the song imo.

In other news, seeing all these CDtitles makes me think I need one.

I was afraid about doublesteps. I only have a keyboard to use to play my sims, so I can't even tell what a doublestep truly is unless I actually play the song on a pad. Any tips to avoid this? Anyone?

The best way to avoid doublestepping is to ghost step the patterns out while writing or keyboard playtesting.

Playing INDEX instead of spread, i.e. using two index fingers on the numpad ULRD or arrow keys LDUR
and counting every time you have to use the same finger to hit two arrows in a row - those are generally doublesteps.

Visually, a doublestep can be defined as a "left down right" (or right down left) pattern to make you face to the side and cross one foot over, and doesn't have a way to get you back to facing forwards.
