ELICA
Wow lol, I don't at any point think this brutal difficulty was entirely warranted, but it was a charming file nonetheless
Was very lopsided, felt like an 8 in many places.
I liked both charts, but in my opinion, a mix of the two difficulties and into one would have been better,
that jumps section at the end of as well as some other sections seem TOO too hard, while most of seems far too easy.

JOMANDA
Awesome crossovers, some of the speed changes were very evil. Great! This must have been hard work to sync.
The speed changes also weren't completely asshole, but maybe a #DISPLAYBPM to hide the extremely minor 300 BPM section would have been nice. I would have used #DISPLAYBPM:90:180;

Quicksand Storm


K8107
Veeerry doublesteppy, for no real reason. The doublesteps didn't make it harder, but they broke the flow a lot, they didn't seem to be following anything.

DIAVOLO
That was actually kind of awesome, probably the best chart I've seen for this song so far!
The speedups were unexpected but worked, too, well done. Ama was about ready to get out the contestant disqualifier, too.

Bring me to life
Patterns good enough, jumps worked well, stop nicely executed.

Swan Lake
This was fun, lol. Not the first chart I've seen for it, the other was much harder but this had a nice flow to it too.

Synchronization
A fun little file, but some of the speed changes felt a little unnecessary. Song choice was good.

The Missing
Oh my God fuck your incorrect displaybpms, that's just not cool, stop doing that.
oh whatever lol, I spent most of that wondering "why am I still playing this"
This was much more playable than the , but still probably a 19/14 rather than 18/13.
I did enjoy this more, but it still felt verrry sloppy in places.
You need to work on making more refined charts in general. It's not bad because it's hard - it's unfocused, it's.. ehhhh
Most difficult things that Oni-91 or Azn_punk makes are good examples of difficult charts that are good lol
The ending on the "cut" is pretty bad, though. You just sort of stop putting arrows in.

Tartarus -ab remix-
Ha, that was awesome! Felt like a boss song from a Japanese simfile pack lol.

Vajuranda
Awesome song choice. That ending gimmick was also mean, but fitting.
More complaints of patterns with lots of flow breaks e.g. RDULRULDRDL (doublesteps, or spins/crossovers that don't "complete")
I don't care how long it takes, I'll keep explaining doublesteps to everyone/at least once a review session.
There are times when it's okay to use them, but since practically no one has, I'd rather just not see them,
especially when nothing in the song seems to call for such a flow breaking motion.
This was great! Maybe the file would have been better if you did more with the 8th doubletap (up up) near the beginning,
like made you have to step it every time a particular sound played. The 16th double taps worked really well, though.
Little things like that make charts memorable.
It might be a little too short!

I was honestly expecting an xmod file on the sampling section! I was kind of expecting it since you bagsy'd the song,

I really liked the sound of the song from the preview haha. If the whole song was more like that it'd be a LOT better.
Chart is too much nastiness and undermines the well thought out steps and patterns.

There were a lot of really good files this week; I'll have to step it up next time (when there's a week I can have something ready for).

+5 Parousia: Really good normal-speed boss song, and totally the kind of difficulty I'd expect from this song. It's also nice that the still had a considerable amount of 16ths and wasn't dumbed down to a generic easy/medium 9.

+4 tartarus -ab remix-: Why doesn't this have any points? A nice hard chart with some gimmicks that take a little bit to memorize. I do wonder where this song came from.

+3 ELICA: Really fun, even if the is a little too difficult for the song and the is a little easy in the beginning compared to the end. The 8th clusters that incorporated turn-arounds were a nice way to make the end more difficult.

+2 JOMANDA: This song was probably a given for this theme. The usage of crossovers and turns in this was really good in this.

+1 The Missing: To be honest, this was probably my most played simfile of this week, but that's because I'm indexing on the keyboard (as I can't play on the pad often). Yes, it's insanely difficult, but it's speedcore, and that's what fits with the song. However, I think there were a number of doublesteps in the chart, even though the only had a few (one?) and the didn't have any (I think).
