What all are you playing this season?

You forgot about him supposedly becoming an invincible assist if he gets benched after going into Turnabout Mode. I haven't tried it out for myself yet, but if it's true, his Press The Witness assist could be the next Mecha-Zangief/Spinning Clothesline.


Weren't there button-mashing and luck-based minigames in the first MP?

Lucking out is what killed some of the later Mario Parties for me. Like, it is obviously a game about how badly you can screw someone over when they least expect it, but the mini games generally have to require some skill to balance that out in the end. All I very vaguely remember about the one round I played through in 5 was that everything was rigged against me. xD; And there was prolly some sort of when-will-this-sad-game-finally-end aspect to it. I have 8 and have played every map at least once, but the maps are either too linear or too effing weird. And there just aren't a lot of good mini-games... plus there's the you-have-to-be-lucky-the-Wii-mote-even-registers thing (Flip the Chimp can die oh my goodness that one game).

1-4 are the best. Tough to pick a favorite.

Remember that one where you had to shake a soda bottle to squirt out a geyser? Yeah, innuendo ahoy.
Pick 3, it's the most fast-paced one out of the 64, loved the items, minigames were top notch (even the Shy Guy ones, I remember spending hours just to unlock that block minigame). IDK why I can't love 4 anymore, I guess because of the stupid mini-mega mushroom crap, plus that casino board was the worst.

You mash for a good 1 minute then stop. Count 3 seconds, then button mash again.

There was that Shy Guy Races one. That was solely based on button-mashing, no timing involved. And the one in the Mini-Game Hut.

Xbox 360:
Gears Of War: Mostly just fooling around in Multiplayer and trying to get the Impossible skin pack.
Halo Wars: Just because I like strategy games.

PS2:
Megaman Anniversary Collection: Have never beated a single megaman on here. Going to try and Beat Megaman 8 or the original.
DDR Extreme 2: Just going for AAAs.

Of course, I played Mario Party 3 via emu because it just never EXISTED here.

I never had problems with computers on Normal, they'd screw me over a few times in the beginning, but I would always have the upper hand by the the time the last five turns rolled around.
Although Mario Party DS was a pretty good step in the right direction, four player mulitplayer with a single card? Sign me up!
