Howie: With time-taking/space-controlling assists, Phoenix Wright owns your penis.

You forgot about him supposedly becoming an invincible assist if he gets benched after going into Turnabout Mode. I haven't tried it out for myself yet, but if it's true, his Press The Witness assist could be the next Mecha-Zangief/Spinning Clothesline.

...just button mashing and lucking out...

Weren't there button-mashing and luck-based minigames in the first MP?

Lucking out is what killed some of the later Mario Parties for me. Like, it is obviously a game about how badly you can screw someone over when they least expect it, but the mini games generally have to require some skill to balance that out in the end. All I very vaguely remember about the one round I played through in 5 was that everything was rigged against me. xD; And there was prolly some sort of when-will-this-sad-game-finally-end aspect to it. I have 8 and have played every map at least once, but the maps are either too linear or too effing weird. And there just aren't a lot of good mini-games... plus there's the you-have-to-be-lucky-the-Wii-mote-even-registers thing (Flip the Chimp can die oh my goodness that one game).

1-4 are the best. Tough to pick a favorite.

Remember that one where you had to shake a soda bottle to squirt out a geyser? Yeah, innuendo ahoy.
Pick 3, it's the most fast-paced one out of the 64, loved the items, minigames were top notch (even the Shy Guy ones, I remember spending hours just to unlock that block minigame). IDK why I can't love 4 anymore, I guess because of the stupid mini-mega mushroom crap, plus that casino board was the worst.
I just came to say hello.

Nuh-uh.
You had to time the mashing.

You mash for a good 1 minute then stop. Count 3 seconds, then button mash again.

There was that Shy Guy Races one. That was solely based on button-mashing, no timing involved. And the one in the Mini-Game Hut.

Also don't you DARE play against CPU. In the course of one game I played against one 'Easy' CPU guy who got 3 10s. TWICE IN A ROW.

This is the game's way of telling you to go make friends. Kinda like the Persona series, except less overt.

Game turns on.
By the last two turns of the match, Howie has eight stars and over two hundred coins.
REVERSAL OF FORTUNE
Howie gets his stuff traded with a CPU that has no stars and fifteen coins.
Game gets turned off.

Never.

First instance: Game is turned off.

Second instance: Her face becomes my own. http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/avatars/2904.png?1322609349

Third instance: Game is promptly thrown against wall.

But never out the window.

"Rainbows in the Sky"
I never had problems with computers on Normal, they'd screw me over a few times in the beginning, but I would always have the upper hand by the the time the last five turns rolled around.
Although Mario Party DS was a pretty good step in the right direction, four player mulitplayer with a single card? Sign me up!
I just came to say hello.

"suffering from success"
PS2:
Technic Beat (I WILL get good at this damn game)
THAW (I love this game. Sosumi.)
Dance Dance Revolution EXTREME (Mission Mode. Evil, evil Mission Mode.)
N64:
Mario Party 3 (The Story Mode is kicking my ass, and I'm not even halfway done. DSmile
Paper Mario (I'm only playing it again to see if I can actually beat it. I don't even know how I beat it the first time.)
PS3:
Flower (The "Leave the city unharmed" trophy is gonna be a bitch.)

By the way, Mario Party 2 was the best one. No questions.
