Nah, you've been seeing wrong, that's the avatar thing in DrumMania. The green background is the actual video.

BEMANIwiki says the video is full screen in the background for both GF&DM.

Well, looks like the game's underway. marcusinhk's gotten most of the videos on Nicovideo mirrored over to Youtube now. Here's what available (as a note, the audio's not so great):

It's good none of the Expert charts so far are too high in difficulty, given the new configurations people have to get used to on both GF and DM, and that they're leaving most of the 9+ songs for Master difficulty. So far on BEMANIwiki, Going My Way!, Ichimoudajin, and Driven Shooter have the only known 9+ EXPERT charts (all on Guitar), though I imagine any insane 90+ GF/DM song will eventually see the same treatment.

GF/DM XG and V7 are now at Extra Level 3! As with previous games, no new songs on the odd levels, but Sonne is now playable on all stages.

So now no more worrying about setting up an Extra Stage run for the sake of this, and you get to try a 99 on the first stage and not worrying about failing it! (assuming it's like V6 where you can't fail on 1st stage)

Got kind of a Waza-like vibe to it. I'd guess this is Jimmy Weckl's Extra Stage contribution this time around. Not a bad song, but it doesn't really feel like an Extra Stage and it seems pretty short.

XG and V7 are up to Extra Level 5 so Mikeneko Jive & (Jive? Jibe?) is off the Extra Stage list and playable on all stages. Not much news there, but BEMANIwiki's got some new XG-playable revivals listed via Jukebox #2:

Looks like this thread could use a facelift again. Main things that have happened:

- GF/DM V7 and XG are now up to Extra Level 11, so basically Limitless Possibility has now become playable in Standard Mode, with the following stages for Extra and Encore Stage:

Anyway, Konami should test this in the US. I think it would do pretty well, since GH is not that popular anymore, and couldn't be called a ripoff of RB since RB has more than just guitars and drums.

No way would that sell when Guitar Hero Arcade is selling.

Yeah, but it will definitely go away in a few years. I mean, there wil probably never be another version, the GH fans will get bored, and if this is available, then they will either play this or say "GuitarFreaks is for teh n00bz". (probably the second one, but what else will these people play if they're bored with the songs on GHAC?)

And I don't think RBAC will be coming anytime soon...

If Guitar Hero loses popularity and people get tired of plastic guitar games, do you really think the thing that will suit those people is another plastic guitar game?
