Gabe, maybe you should take into consideration that while you have a negative user rating, you haven't been banned. So stop complaining about being in the negatives because that will simply make it worse.

As i don't really care much about ratings, i honestly think +5'ing random users (preferably negative users) out of random can be on grounds for a purging of those said rating BOOSTS without much clarification as to what the reason is other than "i deem them fit", isn't that right? Plus, wouldn't negative ratings not even affect negative users or something?Gabe, i'd tread carefully even though this little show isn't going to help you any more than what you've already caused on the site. It seems someone with a pretty deep negative rating -5'd me, since I now have a raw rating of -5 and a weighted rating of -3.1. I have no idea why, or even how anyone here knows I exist, considering I only use the score trackers and haven't posted on the forums in so long that everyone who's ever rated me has gone inactive.
The rating itself I don't care about, but is there any way to disable that nagging banner? I'm getting tired of seeing "You have a negative user rating. Please click here for advice on how to improve your rating among other users." with a link to this thread on every single page I load. I'd just like to track my scores in peace, please.

Nope, now you're on 0.1 pts. I'll just bump you up a little bit, just away from negatives.
2 possibilities: either someone nega-rated you, or someone who posi-rated you earlier became inactive. IIRC ratings given by users who are inactive for 90 or more days are not accounted for.

Looks like several people gave me positive ratings after that last post and I'm out of the red now. Well, I suppose that's one way to solve the problem. XD I wasn't looking for pity positive ratings, but I'll take it since that gets rid of that banner.
I'm pretty sure it was someone giving me a negative rating, since for the longest time I would always see "Poochy.EXE 0.0pts" at the top, plus I think the last time I edited my profile, the page said my raw rating was also 0. I think it's highly improbable that I would have ratings which happened to balance out like that. (Before that, I had a small positive rating, which gradually dropped back to 0 over the course of many months after I stopped frequenting the forums due to being busy in real life. The 90-day inactivity rule certainly explains that phenomenon. Thanks.)
