given how ultramix was originally meant to be a "sequel" of sorts to ddr pc it makes sense that the resolutions/limitations would be the same
gameplay footage from as late as e3 2003 is still very reminiscent of that (and, to a greater extent, ddr 4thmix), but by the time the July 1 prototype was compiled the final interface was pretty much already in place
