Z-I-v Summer Contest 2018

Way to go Ian, you were a force to reckon with this time around! Hey, before everyone forgets 'bout it, here's my first pass at this thing I said was coming. Let's relive the fun times!

Kinda late but...

Big congratulations to ohaiimian for winning this year Summer Contest! Even thought you missed out becoming the host of this year Summer Contest by not voting, you still deserved to win this year Summer Contest. You did a great job!

Also, congratulations to Gameoson and vincentw for reaching the podium! Good job!

And, thank you to everyone (especially the hosts of this year Summer Contest, Gameoson and Pandy) who participate and helped me to make this Summer Contest running smoothly. I can't run this Summer Contest without you all. Thank you so much.

Anyway... I'm gonna make a thought about this Summer Contest, but I'll do it later since I'm kinda lazy right now.

Well, we haven't gotten anything for over a month so...I guess no new contest?

I decided not to do something for the fall as I think some people wanted to take a breather from contests. Also Simfile Tycoon should be starting up soon and I did not want to do something that would interfere with that.

Oh, I thought you were referring to Simfile Tycoon. I was worried that there wouldn't be one.

I don't run Simfile Tycoon so I have no idea when it's starting.

I say bring back the Shuffle. I love having a completely random song to work on. Totally forces you to expand your horizons and try something new.

I know my opinion doesn't matter much, though. I haven't had a serious showing in a comp in over a year now

Simfile Tycoon will be starting on October 22nd, 2018, so the thread will be posted in about a week!

If somebody wants to host Simfile Shuffle next year, then maybe that can happen

I'll be willing to host Simfile Shuffle in 2019 but IDK when it'd be. Probably in winter or spring.

I'm sorry to bump this, but is there anyone who can re-pack the entirety of all the simfiles from the contest? The pack is 7 months old and is missing a lot of the songs.

It would be nice is someone uploaded the official pack to the main pack page. The download that is given above is annoying to sort through since Google divides the pack and makes work to sort through.
